I know another couple of folk local with Cupras. Will compare mine to theirs when I see them next just to make sure. :)

I just thought it was weird that mine moved so much more than the engine in the older, higher mileage MK5 Golf GTi

That sounds like an engine mount-more likely that of the passenger side as you describe-has become loose...
Have you done a lot of launching the car from start and in the dragstrip...???

Not really a lot, but it has been launched a few times, for sure.

Wheel is on fine, but I guess the caliper may be possible. Could certainly check that too :)

Not sure if this is the same but I get a metallic click noise but I only notice it when go to pull away forward or reverse.
I thought it sounded like my front pipe was moving or something.
Was it the ring of bolts that was loose on the driveshaft Al?

As I remember, there are spline bolts on the drive shafts coming out either side of the gearbox. These seem to come loose causing space for movement, hence the clicking.

I will check mine this weekend. I checked all subframe and mounting bolts and found 1 very loose subframe bolt which stopped the clunk I had but still have this noise.
Thanks.

Would be surprised if they have come loose on a car as new and low mileage as yours unless it has been abused.

Found out today mine was being caused by a missing bolt on the front exhaust mount. New bolt in & noise is gone. Quite relieved as I was thinking it could have been expensive

My click when reversing was the heatsheild under the front pipe needed adjusted.
And my rattle in the car was the glossy bit on the rear of the passenger seat which I have now cured. Can you believe it a rattle free Leon!

I traced mine by holding the bottom part of the glossy part which stopped it.
So I unclipped the leather cover underneath at the back very easy just to plastic bits that clip into each other and I packed some foam up behind the gloss trim which cured it. Took about 5 minutes.
Before you touch yours I could press my glossy bit in and out at the bottom showing a little bit of slack causing a click noise.
If yours is different this may not work for you mate.

Hey guys has anyone experienced a jugger when setting of in first. It's like the car is gasping to get going which means putting foot abit harder on acceleration which then equals wheel spin. Also need to check the bolts on the engine ad there is a rattling sound when driving
