Probably a silly question, but after the remap if I service the car from main dealers will they notice and remove the remap? or will it stay there permanently?

they'll notice it, maybe, but they won't remove it....just if anything goes wrong engine wise, you won't be covered under warranty because of the map....

**UPDATE**:

Fitted the SEAT RNS315 (satnav, phone etc) to replace the standard one.

New headunit pics....

Prep was basically ripping the dash to pieces to route the satnav antenna into the interior light/rear view mirror cluster:

Finished, light was going fast!:

PS, many thanks to David @ SERE for supplying me with the fascia adapter quicker than parcelforce 48 delivered the headunit!

I went to school with your mrs then... small world! Yeh true maybe get a drive in both over the next year or so and see what I fancy. Got the diesel for doing long distance driving but I won't be doing much down south when I can get a flight for less, so need something a bit more fun!

Likewise I'll just be using it on weekends etc. Yeh what I've got just now is really comfortable but being one of the lesser models the suspension is pretty soft so rubbish for corners, but what I use it for, driving on the motorway, its brilliant. The newer facelift versions have a much nicer interior too.

My car isnt very comforyably but i font expect it to be with the coilovers at the height theyre at, its worth while when i get to round abouts etc :p i really like the k1s aswell, either that or a mk5 gti, my mate has a silver one running 360ish bhp and its awesome! So nice to drive, holds the road brilliant and much more refined and grown up feeling than my wee car lol.
