My Leon died today - loss of power, glow plugs on and battery cut out when driving

After 3 days of not been able to call Seat UK due to the weekend bank holiday.

I believe someone called Simon Ackroyd is dealing with the injector issues on all of these engines and I told him the issues I had and been told all 4 injectors and wiring loom will be replaced free of charge. I'm hoping I have a courtesy car here by lunch time too!

mine cuts out when driving, glow plug light flashes, then battery light and no power, dead. But will restart again and be ok for a day or so then does same again, getting more and more regular now tho, could this be the injector problem ???

i got my own snap on diagnostic machine, it does not show a thing at all in system, thats why i am reluctant to take it to the dealers and pay for them to tell me what i already know, is Simon dealing with all these injector problems ??

Just for clarification mate...If there are no faults stored in the engine control unit it is NOT the common injector failure problem.
No fault=no injector failure they short to + when they fail and this causes a fault to be stored,All dealers and SEAT cust care are aware of this, that is why they can be so sure that your problem is not the "injector problem".
Sorry but i hope that clears it up,I dont think anyone is trying to "screw you over" but as your car does not have the injector problem it would need to be diagnosed and there is a cost to that.
cheers
