Ahh, just when i'd got my mind off the vr splitter. That looks awesome mate. Really good, and imo the merc wheels suit too, even if they do look like giant hubcaps :p nicely done, and dont worry about scraping it, £20 off the bay = win. Cheaper than the lcr spliiter by a bit now too

A hack saw, stanley knife screws and some sealant to fill the gap around the top.
Bit of a bodge haha

The VR6 splitter is on and I'm really happy with it.
It was a pain in the ar*e! But was worth it.
The only problem now is when the car goes lower it is going to be permanently on the floor :headhurt:

Yep it was a bit of a paint nearly fitted it wonky at first

I would like airride but it's mega expensive, just gonna wear through the splitter instead lol

Wider adaptors have arrived for the rear :) I will put some pics up tonight.
Also means I have 2 15mm 5x100 to 5x112 adaptors I no longer have a use for ;)

Just wondering how much of a pig it is to fit the vr splitter fancy one for my pre face lift and seeing as they aren't that expensivel. is it just a case of taking the plastic bit of the standard bumper and a few mods to the vr splitter to make it fit or are self tappers and the like required?

I've just bought some 25mm spacers for the front, so we'll see how that looks.
I still think I'm going to want 35 for the back, can't wait to lower it a bit more!
Yea L5FLD its gettin to the point where I think each mm is gonna matter! haha
Minimorri the splitter isa pain but not terrible.
Just take the old one off, trim the tabs on the VR6 one and cut it down a bit.
I fixed mine with self tappers and a bit of sealant type stuff behind it into the grooves of the bumper.
I did that to try n stop it ripping off so easy!
