looks like you got big plans mate :) and i think they are spot on, always liked blue and black together, itll look a rate beast once finished next year :)

Thanks mate

Hey Loz! I think blue and white looks alot better! Too many black or part black cars out there!

Hey mate! Nothing is finalised yet and may be put off for a while as I should really start saving  lol

Update

Well to be honest this was a little unexpected but a nice surprise! Got bought a TMC tuning box for the car so put it on yesterday :

Currently running "Setting 7" and must say it feels like a different car, midrange is much improved. Can't wait to get her down Pod' and on a RR day to get it measured. I'll still be looking into getting a custom stage 1 map but this will tide me over until I can afford it :)

I'm unaware of what these boxes are and what they do please can you explain mate?

Still looks like a decent upgrade..

Nice one!

Hows it been for MPG?

Did a journey to the next town and back, got 41.9MPG :)

Basically like a remap in a box, sort of.

It connects to three sensors in the engine bay and alters the signal, should see the car a few more ponnies

Cheers mate

Was hoping to get to Pod' tomorrow and a RR next weekend but not too sure I will have the cash now as I bought a new laptop :(

Also decided to get the wheels a tad dirty, should be washing them tomorrow after 3 weeks, see how well the sealant works!

Cheers mate.

It's true, the Skoda's of old are nothing compared to the new ones but it's changing peoples opinions, that's the hardest part. I've had a lot of positive comments on it but also quite a few "It's still a Skoda", "It's a skip" etc etc. I just laugh at people that say stuff like that, I got mine for a brilliant price and it's a brilliant car.

how come you opted for the tuning box rather than a revo map?
have you had it RRed to see what power its producing with the tuning box?
preferably before and after lol

must admit i do like the new looking skodas, however sorry to say i prefer the look of the old fabia VRS
that said i did see a mk2 VRS yesterday all black it looked mean as lol

The tuning box was bought for me as a present so I didn't really decide for myself to go down that route. I still would like a custom map but it means saving for a while. Not been down Pod (Was supposed to go today) or had it RR'd yet but will do in the near future. You can turn the box off so will be able to see the power without it installed.

I do like the older vRS's but having lived with this for a while now I've got to say I think it's better looking :p
