Absolutely no bother at all. You'll have to run a 205-40 tyre probably, maybe get away with 215

Hi! sorry to jump in and ask a question out of the blue, i feel like a complete newb. Anyway im looking to get some banded steels made up but i dont have a clue how wide they should be (I want to put 20mm spacers on too (or will i not need them with banded steels?)) Any help would be very much appreciated!

No need for spacers if you get banded steels as they can be made to your requirements.
In terms of max width, I can't really help I'm afraid.

I was wondering if a set of Audi A6 wheels would fit my standard 1.2 Ibiza. The tyre size is 205/55/r16 any help would be very much appriciated and if not those wheels what ones would you recommend?

Seems like the maximum size in this topic is 205/*/*.. I was wondering if 225/*/* tires would also fit? Of would they be too wide? Anyone got pics of 225/40/17 under the beeza?

They would fit fine, you would only need spacers if you want the wheels to sit out a bit

What wheels were they? Any pics/links? Stick with OE VAG wheels is my advice!

TBH they aren't the worst I have seen! Not too chavvy. I would still stick with VAG wheels though...

I have found a set of Keskin KT1 alloys that are 16x7.5J front and the rears are 16x9J. would they fit or would they be to wide?

Is it fair to assume that the previously mentioned offset limits (et35-et45) apply to wheels without spacers? Would there be any problems with fitting wheels with a higher offset than this with spacers?
