That was on a track though, straight line? If it was on a track his confidence would have helped him.

Harborough hills (if thats even spelling it right) is a straight line.

 sounds like maybe the vw golf only won the points then!!!

The camera is pretty visible and hopefully he slowed down, i only know one idiot who's ever forgot about the camera and zoomed straight through, dumbass :)

you'll get shot by the cupra lads for comparing a vxr to them :D but yes i have seen harborough hills, ive also seen the 40 gatso at the top, its a decent hill though and the torque of the FR wouldve helped, from a standing start you shouldnt have won, but if you both got going before you started giving it some you shouldve won, weve all see the 5th gear episode between the vxr and the 888 cdti

btw it wasen ta standing start the vxr shot past me at the botom i floored it and got just behinde him then i moved over and kreeped up teh side of him and had my drivers door past his bonnet at the top

i had to make up loads of lost ground to catch him at the botom sounds imposible but thsi is wat happend

Not you though? So your experience is based on your bum dyno? Maybe the mild JBS map is more linear and yours feels quick with that lumpy delivery, (similar to mine) shall we say?

People are going away from the key point here. The ***** map is stutter free. I would imagine there could be a slight trade off in peak power to guarantee this, but I know which I would rather have. Its also fair to say all tuners worth their salt should achieve comparable power for like for like boost...

Someone on here must have compared a Cupra to deDPF?!

Had a play against a MK2 LCR at GTI International 2010, Left me for Dust

When i test drove the MK2 LCR at Seat Media Day thought it felt no faster, lack of Torque when your used to it is quite deceiving

Quarter miles are down to the driver though.

Unless you get the two cars on the same rollers at the same time you don't know and can't say which is crap.

I let my boss take my car to lunch once as he had a lack of rear seats...
