I was holding out for one with the Recaros front and rear, love them

I had the car down at Polished Bliss to get looked over (they were impressed with paint finish!) and it's fine to wax. It's machine polishing that you cannot do for at least 4 weeks after Respray.

I don't think I will wax it for a couple more weeks yet tho

Today myself and my awesome brother did a little bit more work to my car. A bit of an eventful day (which resulted in me needing power hosed before I could drive home! Not impressed at all...) but we got some stuff done. Still few more things to do though.

Decided it was a little treat for my LCR since shes getting old!

New centre caps.

Here's the bay before (minus the cover)

Firstly we fitted my Forge Upper Boost Pipes

Then fitted my Badger5 3" TIP

The rain then started, so we rolled my car into my brothers half finished Garage.

Then we fitted my Jetex Cone and Jabba Heatshield. Pretty happy with it, but need to get a joiner to push the Jetex more into the wing, which should then allow TIP and Jetex to sit better.

Then got a quick pic of outside my work.

I hope to get my 225 wheel fitted, along with S3 covers soon.

Sounds pretty meaty!! Far better than before, and seems to pull better too Im away on my sisters Hennie (Foxy is coming too, sporting a new look ) this weekend and not back until Sunday late afternoon. Maybe next weekend? I need to give you money too, remind me!

Looks good! Desperately crying to be lowered though, I forgot just how high these sit when standard.

Mine always handled well and looked good when rolling but I hated the way it sat parked up, especially next to R32's which IMO have the perfect OE stance. I can't remember how much I dropped mine, a lot though .

It handles well, but just looks too high. It's the lowest car at my work however, so looks good there! I agree it needs lowered, but I live on a farm with only 1cm coming in and out of my drive, and after just spend £1500 getting it perfect, it would be just my luck I would crack the bumper again. When I move out it will be getting KW V2s.

Cheers Wayne, yeah I know. But I like a Jetex, had one on my old Cupra for 2 years and loved it. Like the size of it too.

I know what you mean though, I passed up moving into this nice little country cottage due to a road leading to it being a sump smasher. I plan on binning my LCR at the end of the year but the 335i that'll replace it would still have a problem. I'm not quite old enough for a Land Rover, nor do I have a wife or kids to load into it so I may as well have some fun with cars while I can.

Yeah, they really ought to design roads to suit our cars! One day will get coilovers on it, but not right now.
Plus just spend £2500 in total on it since february so better save a little bit for a house first.
