Looking good, you'll be chuffed with that then :) Quick question while I'm here...

How did you get the old badges off safely? I've got some fresh R badges for mine so need to get the old ones off but have some sort of marker to put the new ones on in the same place. Any ideas?

Hi Niall! Yes I'm sooo chuffed. Noticed last night there is one or two faint swirl marks so waiting a couple of months to allow paint to harden, then will machine polish it.
I took measurements, as I removed my badges for going to bodyshop. So mine might not be exactly in the same place but it's pretty damn close. To remove them I used thread, just used a sawing action to cut through the foam backing. Mine was getting Resprayed so I wasn't too fussy.

Well you do a damn fine job :D keep up the good work Miss Cupra/Cowie :)

Haha, Miss Cupra, that's great! My new nickname is it?!
Thanks love :)

Nice one, cheers :) Did you use any sort of chemicals (like adhesive remover) or heat the badges up first?

And I'll echo what Al said, get yerself to a meet one of these days, make everyone else's cars look grubby :)

You thought about cutting the plates back a bit? Would look better with it being a shorter number.

Niall I heated them up with a hairdryer, then once I had the badges off I used Autosmart Tardis to remove the foam/glue. I have lots of Tardis if you want to borrow some, as Polished Bliss sell it but only in a 5L Can.
Im desperate to wash it, but holding out until Saturday. I did rinse it with my power washer this morning before heading to work :)

Al I have already been stopped four times for my front nmber plate, but it's cool. I always have a tape measure on me so they always leave red faced ;)

Couple pics from this morning :)

I'm only fitting the mods I have in my bedroom Wayne, then that's it until I move out. The other half wants to move in together so saving for that now. Well, he's saving for a house, I'm saving for a garage ;)

Cheers for the tips, I have some tardis here so all good for that thanks :) Appreciate the advice, hopefully I'll get some more motivation for doing stuff on my car when she gets back from her turbo transplant...
