Cheers dude, the elevation of the track certainly makes itself felt as you go round!

I would wear my brain container if I had a rollcage fitted, I wear them on trackdays but not at the 'Ring for some unknown reason!

I've not got a baffled sump yet, its something I'm considering however :)

I've run at the 'Ring with and without a lid; I much prefer without as I seemed to have much better peripheral vision, but looking back it was a bit of a risk (quite a quick car and low skill level :) )

Seeing as you have no baffled sump, have you experienced any issues with oil pressure? A friend of mine has just killed his S3, admittedly four wheel drive, but he managed that on road tyres at Snetterton. I have been doing track days for over a decade and fitted them to cars that are known to have issues; until matey blew his S3, I didn't think it would be an issue with this type of engine.

Are you looking to fit one purely as a safety measure?

Oh I see. I've thought about getting one, but nothing hard and fast to be honest. I may look into a little more although I've had no issues with oil pressure currently *touch wood*. I will get one fitted in the future though.

Heh heh, turns out Ferrari's aren't that fast :cartman:

Ape's play with a Ferrari
Legend.
I did the same with what looks like exactly the same model of car Ferrari F430 convertable.
Up to 120 there was nothing in it, that was before my map was refined.
Great to see I'm not the only Ferrari botherer.
Keep up the good work :D

He was good about it, although he did go a bit silly a little later on so I left him to it. :)

And to think I was pondering swapping the LCR for an Evo V or VI

My Brake pedal's a bit spongy of late. Wonder if I cooked the fluid at the 'Ring  going to speak to Bill @ Badger5 for some more fluid and get it changed before my next Trackday this coming weekend.

If I had the money I would Welchy! :D

Was at Rockingham yesterday for French Car Show. Had a bit of a blast around the track... which was nice.

The First session I ran wide after overtaking a RS Megane who didn't slow down enough either, clipped the kerbs and damaged the wheel slightly (I consider it a bit of extra weight loss! :cartman: ). I only had one car pass me on the whole day, and that was a RS Tuning RS Megane. We had to go easy towards the end of the first session as the car just wasn't feeling right. The Catch Tank had created a restriction and oil was being forced out of its seals, so I bypassed it completely for the next session and the problem was cured. Thanks to Mac @ Essex Motorsport for lending me the tools to do it!

The second session was smoother and uneventful :p
