Can you do me a favor pal when you whack them on? Just take a picture/measurement of how far you have wound them down so i can judge what height to set them at straight off?

Really excited to see the results!!!!

I'm sure they will settle a bit more after a week so will get the alignment done and take further pics and measurements noted down

Good stuff! I'm in the same boat I think now, things have been fixed and slowly the bay is coming together, just going to smash out the ARBs/polybushing once back from holiday and she'll be wired. Oh plus brakes!! My wallet is going to love me

Not that I love to rant but.............W J King in south london are absolutely useless. Rang them up to get a couple of parts and after a long wait they figure out what I want but don't stock them. They can order them but need me to come in and pay first.......FAIL. rang up Audi and they ordering them in for me for tomorrow for me to pick up Job Done

Weitec Coilovers Fitted

Well today all went to plan. Fantastic day for working on the car. Took us about 5 hours to fit and adjust the coilovers. It all went very smoothly to our amazement. Want to send a big shout out to my mate Warren for doing the grunt work along with help from Shah

Only downfall is the lack of camera for me to take shots of the process or the end product. Will have go get some shots taken asap!!

Car feels perfect, slightly firmer but not bone breaking. Take turns superbly and gives you a lot of confidence. Want to drive the car for a bit to let them fully settle then going to do a few more adjustments and get the alignment done. Tested the car on a few speed bumps and seems fine at the moment although the front splitter is off where it had been bashed about too much and needs replacing.

Wish I had a camera to show you all how low we set it at first, looked like some drug dealers ride. Think the ride height is spot on now. Will get numbers on height once we do the adjustments in a weeks time for you all.

Sounds awesome mate, need some decent pics with a camera like yours. I'm suppose to be heading up to Birmingham next week but will see what happens. Otherwise week after perhaps!!!

So glad I went for the Weitec coilovers, bet your the same. Everyone today was amazed by the way the car handles and looks

@Tom - thanks mate, impressive how good the car can look even when taking pics from a crappy iPhone

@Matmur - cheers dude, yeah standard colour at the moment. Before lowering the car I was pretty much set on going for a darker colour but now that it's sitting like this I'm not sure. Crazy how different the car can look when lowering it. They need a refurb in anycase so will see what I end up doing

Yeah same here, didn't anticipate how much the coilovers were going to improve the cars handling. When we put them on and were adjusting it we went for 63.5cm up front and 64cm at the rears. Thats measurements from the floor to the top of the arch. Will do some checks and further tweaks in a weeks time
