Not really got a leg to stand on have they. Hollow apologies don't mean a thing I would do the same in your position as nice as the original proposition was to have all the development kit done not just for you but to make it widely available for other customers, they can't treat customers like that, it's down to poor management in my opinion.
On the plus side take them up on offer of the free parts and sell em on!

I at least would have expected a call from their management to apologise to be honest as they really have messed me/us around. This "free" parts offer doesnt mean anything for me as I already have a shortshifter and spacers. They dont do anything else for deisels really.

got the fwd backwards shifter , could do with the side to side one & spacers :)
Side to side one is a little pointless for the road. I could do with front spacers but hey I wasnt after a freebee to begin with. Like I said it would have been nice to get a phone call and offer me over the phone.

Just to add some history to this, Forge lack of interest in this topic originally was why we went to SFS - there was no other choice at the time.

Good to see that 4 years on, it's still the same.

Deisels and Deisel modding is getting more and more popular by the year. The market they would capture would be massive not only from Seats but Golfs too. Forge unfortunately showed their intentions from day one when they cancelled my development, gave me a weak excuse and got in the Poverty's TT RS in straight away. I didnt say anything at the time as I could understand they may shuffle things around and TT RS is a new car etc. However a further 2 cancellations on the 11th hour not only messed up my personal plans (I lost income because of this as I refused overtimed on projects) and messed around my social plans too.

I am very disapointed that the director did not contact me and explain why the cancellation was happening. Its all in the thread tbh...I really do feel let down by Forge, very deflating for me.

On plus side we have great forum sponser in AmD who actually want to support us and have a company that wants to brake into the VAG scene and develop for tdi's. They do intercoolers for BTCC car so their work speaks for itself! Just waiting for Shaun to get back to me on this.

SuperPro Steering Rack Bush
I heard that the steering rack bush makes steering a more reactive. Comparing the OEM bush and the SuperPro one the SuperPro one was a lot more solid.

The steering a tad lighter. When i took the car for some spirited driving I didn't really notice much difference between the standard one. I only really noticed it when driving slowly just felt a tad lighter and easier to turn where you wanted.

How much work is it to change this bush? I feel I may add this with my up and coming plans...

Was it worth it?

Garage makeover

Decided that i am going to give my garage a makeover. Got a lot of junk in there and its quite big (easily fit a car in there and work around it comfortably).

So the plan is

1) Clear out the junk - order a skip
2) get the sealing boarded off (Asbestos roof so a wise idea)
3) Walls painted white
4) Floor will be tiled with white and black tiles.
5) Fix the work bench and storage area.
6) Additional shelving
7) Car pictures and some mirrors
8) A double couch.
9) additional lighting (halogen lights)

Lots of benefits to this. A lovely home for the car and a place where I can work on the car and detail in peace. I will post pictures up once this project gets underway.
