SC, the Blow off adaptor is easy to fit :) If it's the same as the Leon, 3 torx screws, take the solenoid out, put the spacer on and then back together again :)
The new DV are a piston type which don't fail like the old ones with diaphragms, you'd be better getting that then the full BOV, your choice :)

Wonder if anyone with these VRS's have been stopped by the police?

'Excuse me sir, did you know you have your foglights on?'

'No officer, they're DRL's'

'What are DRL's?' haha :)

Lol it'd just be like having to explain to them how the cornering fogs on the ibiza worked.

Thats pretty cool.. Traffic lights are a beetch for MPG... 41mpg then is hugely impressive.. Did you drive like a granny all the way, or the occasional blip? :)

Just normal driving to be honest, no blips really as no real chance to open her up.

Update

I'm really impressed with the Skoda! Judging from this thread it has a lot of nice little touches that the Ibiza is missing, like the needle sweep - and the fact they're lit up all the time. And it has a better MFD on the dash and a standard VAG size stereo. SEAT should take note!

Pity the headlining is black though - no W8 light for you! :p lol

Thanks mate, your White one looks great :) right I turned the bulb holder anti clockwise and the holder came out, I then prised out the retaining clips holding the plug in place. I used a small flat head screwdriver and put it behind the bulb between it and the holder and that seemed to work!

Nice work there mate. looking good so far.

Thanks mate, I owe you for talking me into buying it!

Your really doing this the right way! I'm loving this Skoda!!

Silvatec bulbs rock. Not enough Cupra's on here have them imo, they just freshen up and modernize the lights a bit. I did mine not long after having the Leon.

ALSO, 41mpg is outrageous! Even if you are driving like a granny that's hugely impressive. This is a very tempting car. I've always had a soft spot for the vRS, previously in the diesel form but reading this is making me really like the petrol version alot.

Those daylight light-up needles are awesome too.

Really looking forward to all the updates in this thread. Nice to see the Skoda's make their mark on here. They get big respect from me.

Cheers for all the positive comments mate, some of the things I've done I reckon car designers should put on cars as standard, make them look a lot cleaner.

You know you want one ;) if you're at some shows this year just let me know and I'll show you around it.

I feel like I should join Briskoda to restore the natural balance of the world :p
