Saw you today going past the thistle, looks cracking :)

Im considering getting a cupra tdi next year once my insurance drops, if only they did one in candy white :(

Cheers! Yeah i saw you too, never twigged who it was till you had drove past! It was the toe strap at the front that got me thinking 'i've seen that car before'. Looks pretty mean.

cant stop looking at this car! love it love it love it!

Cheers pal, you got a r/r set up for your cupra yet?

i only bought one of these leds so i might do the boot at a later date. certainly is brighter though!

i contacted one company about the cruise control but they have'nt got back to me yet. Been busy as well tbh. If anybody knows anywhere that could fit it, give me a shout!

I know how to program it. I think techie was selling ready made looms to make fitting pretty easy.

Tbh it's not worth the money. I have it on mine and never use it

Good man, assuming its the same on a VrS you can help install mine when I get it, is there not a wire that needs to go direct into the ecu? Or is that just in some cases, if it's plug and play I will just need help with programming, genuine VrS one is about £60 , I reckon I would use it on most motorway journeys

I have no idea about the wiring. Mine came on the car. I just know techie was selling wiring kits for it a while ago.

Not on the '77 you won't lol. Too much traffic. The only time mine gets used is for average speed camera zones. And that's just laziness tbh

That would be great scott, pm me if your bro can do it.

I would use it. I use it all the time in the citroen c5 that i have been given just now as a company car and it's great. Suspension on that car is mental lol.

I stopped going in by the 77 in the morning, too much traffic, end up pissed off before i even get too work!! Started going up through barrhead, takes longer, but no long ques of traffic which i prefer tbh.

Does your c5 have the button for going up and down. The one I had was pretty good but even in it I never used cruise. Just used to set the speed limiter.

U don't want to know why, but with the rear seats folded down, you can sleep quite comfortably in the back of a c5 too lol

Yeah it has about a thousand button on the fixed steering wheel lol. I've never tried the speed limiter, that's my task for monday ha ha. Yeah i find it useful having cruise on, shame it's only a 1.6 and takes ages to accelerate! Not tried folding down the rear seats ha ha....

I had the 2.0hdi and it had every option you can think of. Was actually quite a good car.

The seats fold perfectly flat and it's exactly the length you need to sleep out straight

The one i'm using just now is a VTR+. Yeah they are pretty well built and ride really well, but roll badly in the corners ha ha. Nothing else going on in the back of the c5 other than sleeping then ha ha?!! I'll probably stop using it in the next fortnight, as the project that i'm on just now is ending shortly (hopefully, fed up with East Kilbride!!)
