nice job on the mpg :D i went on a eco run yesterday and got

im pretty impressed with mine considering the mods and mapping.

also were did you get the little badges from as i want a new 1? hope you dont miss your car too much

I got it through Audi but SEAT would sell them, original price is £15 roughly. Look further back in my thread when doing steering wheel and you will find the part number. I went to see it today. Im so glad to see how precise they are, don't think I could have picked a better bodyshop :)

Nice mpg im only getting mine up to like 32,be better once Re-Mapped next year tho. Long wait it will be Kat,but like others said be well worth it. I will be thinking about you that day when I am having my tattoo done. Hope it's all done on time you having your car back for your birthday...

Get some more pics up when you do :)

Thanks Wayne, going to see it again during week as they said I could pop in past whenever I like. Today they were stripping down and painting the insides of my two replacement doors. Can't wait to get it back! :)

sorry to burst everyones bubble but heres my best mpg so far from my standard lcr, its the average over about 50miles

Very impressive Shaun! Mine is remapped hence the lower average. Still not bad as wasn't really trying :)

Went to see my car today.

My two new replacement doors have been primed and now have the inside and out done in red. Turns out my rear bumper had a few small dents which in the 6 months of ownership I never even seen them! The two lads must really like me as they heated it and removed them, free of charge ;)
Really happy now that I have seen how much trouble they are going to, even doing things to the car which I didn't even ask to be done, mostly free of charge just because they take so much pride in their work. Still looks like it's going to be another two weeks work yet, but will be well worth it.

Really don't think I could have picked a better, more trustworthy bodyshop.

Big smiles :D

This is coming along nicely, you're clearly a perfectionist! I love you eye for the details, all those little touches add up to make a huge difference.

You must be so excited about getting it back, I'm sure it'll look amazing when its all done! :)

I look forward to seeing the pictures.

Thanks :) Yes, very much a perfectionist. Lots still to do, but it will get there. Using this opportunity to make a few very small but rather obvious changes too, including a little bit of carbon ;)

So excited to get it back, going to be a long two weeks... Lol

Drivers side had a dent which was located infront of side impact bar, so couldn't be removed and passenger side was damaged at top where someone had tried to break in. Got two Ovni doors from Birmingham for £50 each which came complete with speakers, glass ect.

How do you I'm pretty?! Never seen me lol. I could be a right ugly girl lol.

They are lovely lads, even gave me a cup of tea and a shot of the sander hehe

That's you in the middle of your avatar missy ;)

Sounds like a properly good job they'll be doing on your LCR Kat, its going to be better than showroom standard once you're finished with it (just like your LC).

Looking forward to more pics! :)

Yes... That is me in the middle, although I wish I was the one on the right! Lol. Someone must have told you I was the one in the middle though!

Yeah I hope to get it as 'showroom spec' as possible, will try my best :) Yeah the fool old LC, worked hard on it and got there eventually. It's in Bucksburn now.

Thanks for the nice comments :)

So whilst my car is in I will be doing some work on the 225 steering wheel. Got my new Cupra R Badge so fitted this, small change but makes a good difference.

Now just have to finish the stiching and will get it fitted once I get my car back. Happy Days! :)

Hi Kat just had a look through your thread and your car looks mint!

How easy was it to remove the badge and put the new one in? Any hints and tips because I really need to sort mine out.

Thank you, I can't wait to get it back! :)

I used a very blunt ( and old!) flat screwdriver, and just slowly prised it off. I put a cloth under the screwdriver to protect the leather, worked a treat. It's similar to the pin on the end of the aerial, looks the same. Just take it easy and you will manage. Hope this helps!
