OEM Leon number plate holder?

Hi guys...

I purchased german pressed plates for the Cupra AGES ago but when I came to stick them on with my no more nails tape, I suddenly remembered that the bumpers are curved and the number plates are flat...

As Seat sell cars in Germany, I expect there must be some sort of genuine part that allows these to be fitted to the front and read bumpers of the car?

Could you not just bend the plate Pat?
Do you mind saying white you got them from?

I tried that... I ended up bending slightly too hard and turned my nice flat pressed plate into a boomerang... You would have to get it rolled properly...
I got my from The Plate Man.

that could work if the plate fitted into it but it would still out at the back

I had a set of proper German oem ones on my past fr, bit sold them sadly. If I remember correct I bought them from dubwieser, but o had to phone them. Try them. Let me knw how u get on I would like another set.

Ive got pressed plates on mine with German Seat holders, The holder has molded to the bumper over time so its rounded, I just slightly and slowly moulded my plate to the holder aswell

the Mercedes ones fit in. the entire out side clips and holds teh plates

you need a tool to open them and then top half fold opens and then the bottom half

There different to the ones I had from dubwieser. I got them about 2half years ago. I sold them to a guy on pistonheads after I sold my fr because he emailed me when I was selling the car. Wish I'd kept them now.

Are u serious?

Every numberplate comes "flat" If you have the sticky pads it should just be a case of pushin the plate onto the bumper and it will then follow the curves without any hassle. The bumpers aint very "curvy" so dont see there being an issue
