Hopefully it should be preeety good.. I was out with the lads last night, and it just made me realise how sluggish the mk3 is on the motoray, I was doing 110, and a mate in a VTR was gone, mate in a Twingo GT had gone, and a mate in a 1.0litre corsa was right up my ass.. I dont mind about the twingo cause thats 1.2 turbo 16v, but the vtr is only a 1.6 8v, and the corsa is just a midget under the bonnet pedeling like fook with a 1 litre bottle of pepsi in his hand.. I dont know.. I still love my beeza, but I need a little more style, and a little more speed.. Cornering though, is heaven!!

Need a big fat turbo mate. If you were all doing 70 there would be no problem haha only joking. if you get the clio one of your mates will then get a faster car, then another a faster one...a vicious circle till your all skint and driving 500 litre american muscle cars hah

Allow me to put you in the picture as to how slow the mk3 1.4s are... the mk4 1.0 12v is faster. a 16v 1.2 rented swift is the same speed. Basically, they are the slowest cars on the road.

However

With a few little mods, which Jordans done, it becomes one of the best handling, to the extent that down a twisty road near my, I can keep up with scoobies because of the balance and grip the chassis gives you

They are amazing at handling...................................................... in the dry. As last night, I went round a roundabout in the wet and kept going straight.. At about 25 - 30 mph in 2nd.. Managed to turn my wheels straight just in time, but then went through a bush with a high curb.. And gouge out of my only non kerbed cupra wheel and smash went my stubby mirror.. It gives a whole new meaning to bush diving (Bush driving more bloody like).. So yeah, I will take a picture.. Im not having any luck with my car at the moment.. Someone up there doesnt like me at present...

Tell me about it. I need a turbo, or a charger. I am going to go for a new shape clio though.. And then save and save and save, and get a supercharger fitted.. Or go for a megane 225.. Poss the megane route to be fair. They can be modded to big big power. With regards to the friends getting faster cars.. They are like a lot of people on here.. They wont just go for a faster car, they will just mod/replace parts on their existing cars and try to beat others.. A lot more fun imo.. Mate in standard VTR gets smashed off mate in Twingo.. Mate in Twingo USED to smash mate in Modded ZetecS, but now mate in modded ZetecS just got his new full exhaust system fitted, he just edges infront of the Twingo.. Ryan in the Fiesta will be proud as punch now.. But Callum in the Twing will do something to his and beat the fiesta.. We have some brilliant nights out..

So yeah, anyways.. Big chunk out of Cupra Alloy.. Needs to be referbed before I even try and sell them on.. Picture to follow..

Ill upload a photo sometime soon, but anyways, a mate is sh1t hot at refurbing wheels, and is going to do mine for me.. All I need to do is get paint as he already has sandpaper and filler and other various wheel refurbing necessities.. What colour do I go for guys??

Infact I think your wheels would look good in white with the dark car. But its up to you

Cheers Arun! The car looks okay when its VERY clean, if its a little diiirty though the colour annoys me..

If I was keeping the car, I would probably get it saaahhlaammmedd!! But Im thinking of getting rid soon. Im just going to stick standard wheels on, take spoiler off, remove hids and sub and sell it on... Oh, spacers too.. But yeah.. It will be going cheeaaap because the front ball joints need replacing, and camber adjusting. So, that will be sold cheapish, then mods will go, and then that will be a half decent deposit on a 1.6 16v 56plate clio.. Now.. I have some naughty plans for that... Which involve orange/green wheels (Black car), and weitec coilies.. I WILL be mithering you and suj for lowering tips lol.. Probs have a drive down too

Ive lost my iPhone lead.. So I cant take a picture of my wheel.. I completely forgot.. I always smash SCN, but never update my own thread.. Even though there are no updates.. Think Im going to keep the car for another year or so..

So I may, Lower, fit sideskirts, refurb wheels, colour code and quite a few other things.. Just tidy the car up a bit would make me happy.. Probs just get a £500 loan or something.. Once all that is done, I will buff her up and get her shiny, ready for the hot weather..

All in good time though.. As Im off to T'egypt in a couple of weeks with the mrs So atm I'm absolutly Polo Mint..

Found it!! Here are a few pictures of the car in wales.. Nothing major.. Dirty car, and still no updates.. And a picture of my broken wheel :/

I have white tape round a mirror, holding it on.. So I put some round the other one too to make it slightly symetrical..

I'm not suprised you went straight on! 30mph onto a roundabout in the wet, that's kinda asking for trouble.

Oh and clios suck. Someone I know had one the same shape as that pic you posted and he had no end of electrical problems with it. Stereo turning itself on and off, windows going up and down on their own, typical Renault.

And yeah, Kinda ditched the idea of a clio, everyone said "Dont go renault. Their build quality is horrendous"..

So going for something Vag I think.. Im undecided..

If I only wanted looks, then I probably would.. But only 90bhp.. I need at least 140bhp in my life.. 2.0tdi.. A3/Golf/Leon... They would be nice.. probs another year or so...
