My mate has recently fitted a Wavetrac to his stage 2 LCR and is over the moon. Says it's a different car and really gives you confidence in the twisties..

Seems a better option than the Quaife taking price into account!

I concur too.
So glad I went this way rather than Quaife route

Looking to get a few more for the rear doors / wing and quarter. Getting a friends garage's name on there as he helps us out no end, and trying to think of some others. DC logo's have been suggested, along with a chequer pattern at an angle across the rear door / 1/4. Just the brakes to repaint and I think we're just about ready to roll to Germany :D

Too right dude!!

The LCR's had an oil and filter change in readiness for the trip, found a fuel leak too :( new fuel filter soon sorted that. The old one was possibly the original I think, there was flammable mud coming from both ends of it! for £3 it's definitely worth changing regularly!

Yesterday I found my Y piece (oil breather) had split, luckily I found a T piece and some tubing I never used. A little bit of Bodgineering later and that was sorted too!

The first of a couple of deliveries have arrived this morning, with more to come hopefully! Mad fitting session before we head off at 10pm tonight!

Car is looking fantastic! Like the graphics, plus the way they colour match the Alloys.
Best of luck on your road trip to the Nurburgring - plus your time AROUND IT at the weekend! Sounds alot of fun! Be sure to post pics!? :coolthumb

Alot of effort gone into performance upgrades on your car. Looks great. You have so much scope with the Mk1 Leons (compared to our Mk2's).
Engine bay upgrades / modifications / just tidying it up and looking sweet!

On the Mk2, most that gets done (usually) under the bonnet, is a Remap and perhaps a filter change! :D

Thanks bud, I like doing daft things aesthetics-wise :D

I got a 9:57 on a damp track last year with a standard engine and coilovers alone. Would be nice to get into the 8-somethings this time round. The track's only open in the evenings this weekend due to ADAC Racing that's going on but will be an incredible time there nonetheless. Pics / Tweets / FB updates will be aplenty if I can get wifi working in the hotel!

There is a lot that can be done with 20v T's, although I'd love a Mk2 Cupra R as a project to try a few things out on. I think once the warranties all run out on your Mk2's there'll be more and more available for it :cartman:
