Got the side rubbing strips colour coded. Was toying with the idea of gloss black strips, but thought i would get bored of that look so kept with white.

Ok pretty sure I saw the car about 10 minuets ago at the stanecastle roundabout. White Fr with colour coded side strips. Was actually my gf that pointed it out.

that was me, was driving quite fast though lol, bit of road rage + bad day at work = angry driving lol. Never saw you, what exit were you coming from?

Also gave the car a good going over inside and out since it's not been cleaned since i got the side strips done about 3 weeks ago. Firstly washed the car with the 2 bucket method then washed wheels including inside the rims. Then dried the car and put a layer of Meguiars cleaner wax on then two layers Autoglym HD wax. Was hard work but the outcome is worth it :)

Also, i now have no number plate lights as the shitty led ones have broke already and i can't find the original ones [:@] I think i'm going to complain so i can get my money back as they were £5+ If anybody could recommend ones that actually last, feel free to let me know!

Thinking of wrapping the door pillars and rear valance in 3M carbon fibre wrap. Not sure if this is a bit overdone though, so thoughts would be appreciated!

Maybe just stick with gloss black on the rear valance then. The reason why i'm not sure on doing the vinyl on the door pillars is because i saw somebody else had done them and they looked 'orange peely' but really bad, think this is because the plastic is textured. Did'nt look good imo, that's why i'm thinking carbon will disguise this.

Think i may buy some black hamerite tomorrow and do the brake callipers, not sure what i'm doing but i'll have a go ha ha!!

Anybody got 'park position mirror' enabled on their car? I want it so i don't kerb my wheels. I made a thread about it along with enabling the mirrors to fold/unfold when you lock/unlock the car.

Think somebody has been tinkering with vagcom on my car before because i have the locking 'chrip', comfort wiper and all my doors and boot unlock when the key is removed from ignition rather than just the drivers.

Should do the centre console in 3M carbon vinyl, mine looked good on my old beezer

Yeah i remember seeing that on your old car. I will just try the cheap gloss black first of all as i've never done anything like this before so don't want to fork out for the 3m stuff which is dear for it to be wasted. Hopefully will turn up soon so i can give it a go!

Looks good!

What made you go for the cleaner wax then the AG HD? I want to have a go at wrapping too, but I've got no idea how to do it lol.

Had a mini bottle of it in the garage so thought i would use it up, nothing else ha ha! Will let you know how i get on with the vinyl
