Sounds like something isn't lining up Joe. Have you tryed adjusting the door catch on the shell, rather than the door latch? Have you had the lock out to see there's no debri in there that could be jamming something?

The only bit which I've adjusted is the chrome catch on the shell, what else is there to adjust?? I might get the lock out this weekend and take a look, how many plugs are supposed to connect to the mechanism (I only have one - at the top)

Few random pictures from tonight.

Cleaned up the arches and chassis legs and made sure the coilovers still move freely and not seized.

This is looking gorgeous, you made a good choice with white. Your attention to detail is admirable, I'm looking forward to more shots when it's back on the road :)

Any more updates Elliott?? I sorted the lock on my car, might be helpful to know that if you over tighten the 3 black bolts holding the mechanism to the door then it doesn't lock properly...thought they would have to be tight to be honest although slightly loosened off seems to solve the problem.

Strange one that Joe, mine are as tight as I could get them.

Updates wise is have a few problems this weel with it starting up and then cutting out, had no throttle at all, turned out it was the n75 hose leaking to the charge pipe, also it seems the starter motor has got an intermittent fault, been fine all week starting up and then once you get it running for a bit and go start it again there's nothing there.

But on a plus side I am putting some colour on the front end today wings bumper and my brakes are painted ready to be fitted and bled, alot of work to be done in 2 weeks.

hey m8 how did you remove the master cylinder to paint in the bay? im at the point of painting my engine bay etc now and all is stripped apart from the master cylinder just wondering how you removed yours as without removing the pedal i cant see it coming off, i have also noticed that there is a clip behind the pedal that looks as if it'll come off but it wont even with 2 of us on there and no dash in the car?

cheers for that m8 i would of left it there but the servo was leaking brake fluid over my chassis legs so i have to remove it then ill fit the spare that ill paint. ill see how much a new clip is from tps and may just heat gun it until it gets soft snd just replace it.

cheers m8 keep up the good work

Not updated for a while, but it's ready for the road again, insured from Wednesday.

Front grill isn't on yet, paint was still soft and the bumper needs aligning but to do that I need to modify the IC pipework slightly.

Cars also filthy, if you look at the front wings and the sideskirts there clean and the rest is majorly dirty, so it's getting a good detail this weekend with lots of ironx, it's COVERED in fallout.

Love the 2 tone paint ;), does look good though Elliott, I need to redo my bumper and bonnet as it's all stone chipped already :( :ban:
