I didnt bother with soap.

I took the lower grill off, measured it out, pushed the vinyl down onto the lip (with tha backing on at this stage) and creased out to the edges, cut it out ( just a little bigger than the creases) and stuck the vinyl down. Used a credit card to smooth it out. Then hit it with a hairdryer.

Was it easy getting the centre grill out, sorry haven't taken it out before, that would seem the easiest way to apply the vinyl.

Then hit it with a hairdryer.

And when that didn't work, I turned it on and used the heat!!

The centre grill, I just prised it out, if i can remember right, its held in by a few clips ( I broke one when I took mine off) It can push straight back in when you're finished. just be careful when you take it off.

Cupra spoiler looks good, i didn't really notice much difference when i had mine but the other day i was crouched down cleaning the back bumper and looked up and it looks massive! :)

Its Probably Because Our Cars Are Almost Identical :p

I'll probably get slated for this one, but I was interested in DRL's (note: not the audi style ones) but maybe converting the fogs or something along those lines.

Darn LED Numberplate bulbs went last night, One blew, and the other is a rather non-appealing strobe light effect! lol so I'm back to my original ones.. didn't last too long. :(

Car is looking really good mate, lots of tasteful mods. Like the little interior bits. Headrest spings, seatbelt pads, etc and the parrot device looks really smart.

Keep up the good work, hopefully the white dials will fit :)

Cheers dde. Really appreciate it.

I know some on here don't like small cheap mods, but just bcos ther cheap dsnt make them tasteless..

Getting the radio code tomorrow (FINALLY) and have a few more ideas in the pipeline but they might have to wait until summer.

Nice look forward to seeing the progress

As for the cold gear knob you need to knit it a little custom hat like so :D ;)

Cant remember off-hand which seller. but I got them oneBay.
They were really good, looked the part, but they lasted about 2 maybe 3 months I think. Could have been the cold weather though...

went to clean the car last night, mid to low light, thought i'd check mice.

one was fine and the other strobe, then it stopped then both strobe.
