I was planning on leaving them in thier, it only gets condensation when its damp/wet outside, there not condensated at the moment. Just hoping that when its is damp, the condensation will go into the packs rather than sit on the inside of the glass :)

It does say in the manual its normal, and they reccomend leaving the lights on for a few mins and it will dry out.

The gel pack things could be a problem, exspecially if you have xenons as they get VERY hot

That doesnt work, I was driving for hours with the xenons on while they were condensated and it did nothing :S and im pretty sure that xenons have lower power consumption and operating temperature than halogens?

True, no diffs with the lights on for ages, I think it's because they're on there is condensation. Lucky the season is almost done so it will be gone till next winter hahahaha

Take the covers off that seal them and run the engine for a while, the heat should help dry the insides of them out, put a small bag of silica gel in and then seal them up.

That should get all the moisture out, then again you could re-charge the silica by sticking it in the oven at 80 degrees for half an hour, and stick them in again.

Well it has happened.......

So off i go to get the car washed. Drive quickly down the road and as I stop at the traffic lights............... I notice the damn engine management light flashing! 9K on the car and I was hoping it would not happen to me. So now I have a predicament of sorts. Car is booked in for the ECU update with Hatfield SEAT next Friday so will ask them to check for fault codes as I tried to replicate the light coming on but nothing. Other problem I have now is that I am booked in for stage 2 with Awesome next Saturday but am petrified now of something going wrong and it not being covered..................... What to do, what to do? I am led to believe that the exhaust will not affect the engines warranty, is that correct? Car was driving 100% perfect tbh so I am not sure if I should be freaking out too much or not.

It'll just be the same error as mine ran.

New ECU flash, new (different) plugs & you'll be right as rain.
