Insurance on a 3 series will be high. My dad is 47 has a clean licence and one crash and he just paid over £550 and he's been driving for 30 years (cheapest price with admiral after haggling). Remember its not just about power, it's about insurance groups. I've tried loads of different cars that had different power outputs but different makes, and you would be surprised what it would cost for a car with a fancy badge with the same power as something thats considered a 'normal' make.

Can understand why you get bored though, i'm the same tbh. I'll be on my 3rd car and only been driving for 2 years!

I know what you mean about loads of different cars aswell and insurance. Theres a a 51 reg S3 at the garage in the same industrial estate that I work and the insurance for that for me at 24, 5 years no claims and a speeding fine whistle was £1269 but a mk3 Ibiza Cupra, pretty much same engine minus 4 wheel drive and alittle down in power was £639.

Just depends on the car/cost amongst other things.

exactly so you are doing the right things as long as you don't go French or corsa!

Just gotta sit and do some quotes on cars you like and find out how much tax is nowadays too.
