Cant tell you im afraid :/

Doesnt it say in the manual?

Haven't checked the manual yet, as when I posted the question I was inside in the warm and it was late and dark outside, so just thought I'd ask on here, lazy I know. :)

Will check the manual tonight and see.

So, my local stealer tells me today that if I trade in my car for a new FR he won't tell anyone about the fact that the number plate light is loose, so presumably they won't then fix that before selling it on - naughty! And my car which I only bought new in May, has apparently depreciated in value by £6,000 since then, having done only 4,000 miles! Having a laugh I hope. No wonder their rep is rubbish unless you want to take advantage of their superb finance offers ...................

Good news! FR Grille has arrived and new LEDs. Fitted LEDs in interior and they don't glow like the old ones so it's all good.

Bad news - whole workforce made redundant today so no job and no mods for the forseeable future!

Fitted the centre console insert today and the FR grille - very happy, looks much better. May have the chrome grille surround painted black in the future when got spare money.

Sorry to hear about your job by the way :(

I think you should do the radio surround.

Looking great Claire, was the center easy to get off?

Actually, it was a little disappointing as all the bits are stick-on. When you consider the price it's a bit of a let down.

The radio surround literally sticks over the old one, and the centre console insert sticks over the one already in there but it looks like it's actually been fitted so that's why I did it first as it looks really good and you can't tell it's stuck on. Not sure about the heating controls but my other half said to do the stereo and so has Char, so I might ...

Thanks SC16v for the LED link by the way. The fact that they worked really cheered me up yesterday, as did the grille. Got plenty of time to sit and stare at the car now lol ;)

Good news - I'm back! My cash came through and I have a job so the modding can commence!!!

I am getting her lowered first off. Any opinions over using Seat springs or Eibach cos I am wondering about warranty issues? Anyone got any pics of the car lowered on Seat springs so I can take a look?

I'd go Eibach. Seat ones really aren't a huge difference. There is someone on here who has Seat ones, but cant remember who.

Congrats on the new job!

Yep, general opinion is go for lower Eibachs than the Seat ones, or even go for coilovers. I don't really mind, just want it to look good if forking out the cash. What amount of lowering does anyone suggest?

Wow, I never really gave silver/grey a thought when I ordered mine but it stands out really well when set against the black rims and mirrors.
