yes i meant i wasnt sure on which ones fit, there is loads...

There is 11 results for "aux smart car"... 6 of them are those in that link that I gave you which go from roughly £8-£15.. the other 5 results are different. 4 of them are £80+ and the other is an aux jack on both ends which surely wont fit.

Its not rocket science!

Probably not what you want to hear.. I had the same thing when i bought my ibiza, never got to find an aux connector or a cheap one anyway so i gave up just replaced the head unit with a better one, took me 5 mins, easy.

I'm guessing yours has the aux in/out beside the handbrake then... This wire we're on about is a different one for the back of the headunit itself ;)

Ahh, yeah, I was meaning the other connection next to the handbreak. What is the one behind the head unit used for?

the same just were poor and didnt buy a car which has a aux port next to the handbrake, we have to use this cable and the 6 disc function on the headunit

It says on the sellers page that if your unsure if its right for your car to give them an email so ive gone and fired one off. I'll post up once they get back to me.

I gave the guys at that ebay shop a call and asked them about the aux adaptor. They said that the Alana cd players are made by Grundig and the Grundig cd players should take the aux adaptor no problem. The guy on the phone did say it could be returned if it wasnt right tho.

I got the lead and connected it, fits fine, however when i press the CD6 button it flashes up "Changer" on the display but doesnt actually do anything even though the ipod is connected and running. Anyone have any ideas?

You need to earth it. Run a bit of cable from pin 14 and loop it round the screw where the rubber bump stop screws on
