Just took me 15 min to read your thread from start to finish and mate I can honestly say you have done a fine job, your car looks superb. You must be proud! Big fan of the MK5.

Ummmm well if I can afford a Cupra I will sell up but it's not looking too great at the mo so not going to put my eggs into that basket.
I'd like some springs for this as it does look a little 4x4, paint the wheels and then not too sure, anything you can suggest?

Springs or coilovers are a definite and also the wheels, will look superb in gloss black, all I can suggest is paint callipers red, looks good and its simple. Not fancy putting an induction kit on it or anything like that?
Was thinking of doing the calipers in red and then maybe add a few red hosing in the engine bay so the car will be red and black. Not really thought about an induction kit, do like the sound but a bit worried about heat soak

Yeh the red theme will look good especially on a black, yeh it is a worry without good heat-shielding, I think after you've done the mods you've said it will look brill so I would keep it like that for a bit untill you see something you want
Don't think I want to do anything else, did want remote start but the alarm company I use says there is no system yet for CANBUS

My mate had it retro fitted to his FTO it was good but looked a bit tacky. It would look good, especially on top of the gear stick my personal favourite.

I meant like have it working off the keyfob so I can start it from the house 5 mins before I go out when it's cold so the car is warm also it looks pretty cool starting it as you walk towards it lol!

This is gonna sound strange, but would you be able to do a quick test for me next time you have a spare 2 mins or so and roughly count how many metres your dipped bulbs produce onto the road infront? obvioulsy when stationary and when they lights are on lol.
Mine still seem extremely short. Love the OSRAMs but they still don't look like they produce loads of meters infront of the car. It doesn't seem to reach as far as yours do in the pic.
