That red is sexy as hell i have to say , I'm on with the car again now as i can't seem to insure anything ? haha! Just ordered lamin-x for a few parts , and getting the black roof done asap , also got my tow strap fitted just for show and plan on re painting the calipers when the weather chears up! Need to sort a new backbox as i fancy an oval tip also

Diffuser is also getting ripped off and painted in a gloss black Have to get the heatgun and cut the plastic welds then re-weld with more plastic , its a right chew on! I have heard it's a pain to get paint to stick to the bumper though? Anyone know if that's true ? If so I'll vinyl it ... Had a word with a mate and he's going to paint the wheel centres and the diffuser. Just need the money to fund all this !

If the rear diffuser is the same as the foglight covers, it's almost a "vinyl" that's on it already. I got a stone chip on my fog and stupidly picked at it and peeled off a large section of "Grey". Perhaps this is why the paint doesn't stick?

Im thinkin of havin roof done but got some dents in it and they will show up more

To answer your txt mate my exhaust is a custom one the tail pipe is 6x4 mate just right to fit in the cupra/fr bumper.

The diffuser doesnt need to come of just give him the bumper i had mine sprayed had no problems with it mines satin black.Dont forget the bits round the reflectors aswel.mines been sprayed for over 2 years had no bits coming of tbf

Yep I think it is more like vinyl tbh! It's a really smooth surface. I'll have to see how it goes!

You can always cover the dents with a sort of peel able adhesive then flat it over .

Right I'll keep that in mind then , never took my rear bumper off before though! How hard is it?

to remove bumper mate remove lights some screws there some screws in wheel archers and some under bumper easyer that doin the front mate lol

Got a cupra bumper so its alot easier , just behind my fog ..

Done it already mate i was about to wrap it , got the vinyl out and then the dog ran in got it stuck on her and then it all got stuck together and basically was ****ed.. So now i have no bumper and the cars of no use for a few days , not happpy chappy!

Popped em out now and wrapped one in the gloss with some left over vinyl, Looks good , shame the dog messed the big peice up! Iv'e got a sheet of carbon i could use but i fancy gloss for some reason?

Shes staying like this until my tint and gloss vinyl come ! Ill get my mates to drive me about for now, I've just emailed about getting my roof sorted so should be done in the next week or 2 i hope Then its smoothed boot and wheels i thinks.

Yeah i could of wrapped her in my foot earlier when she did that to the vinyl , just my luck!

I really need to do the bit round the rear reflectors good idea that as the paint has flaked off badly on mine but need to decide on a colour first. What lamin-x you ordered? I am going to do the rear lights but waiting for it to warm up a bit before doing that.

The stuff is dead thick its untrue!! cant wait to get this car done , In the next month it should look amazing!
