Welcome to my first ever "proper" project!

Bought it earlier today, is a 1989 BMW 318i E30. In alpine white.

Was ridiculously cheap for what it is, body is clean, no dents, a few spots of rust but nothing major. Engine is in awesome condition, has only done 140k, which isn't half bad for a 21 year old car, runs sweet!

Bought it off my grand dads mate, he had it 11 years to use as a weekend toy! I plan to do the same lol

Plan
It's got no tax and has been declared off road, will stay that way. will stay that way so I can fully restore it!
Will then need a nice stance and wheels. OEM+ ftw!!!

Not had chance yet, mum dragged me out to look at tiles for the upstairs bathroom (I've got to pay for it all and do it because I owe her lol).

Need to invest in a better jack and 2 more axle stands, to get her off the ground lol!
And a car cover , don't want the old girl getting wet now do we

I didn't really notice the arches lol, too much time oggling the bumper and wheels to notice the arches lol.

I'm glad I've finally got a second car, no need to worry about practicalities with this one

haha, was my grand dads good mate, and our plumber.

He sold it because he has another project, a Daimler V8!!!!!! He's had it for 26 years and been working on it since lol, I've got dibs on it as soon as he comes to selling it
