De-wipered the rear

Decided to de-wiper the rear of the Ibiza this afternoon.

Followed this guide for some tips http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=188424&highlight=wiper+guide

All pretty simple really. Bought a set of grommets from Halfrauds (including the 24mm one for the rear screen) but have also a 25mm one ordered off ebay coming too.

Pretty pleased with the result. Will get some rain repelant stuff for the rear screen to help keep it clear/clean. Disconnected the washer hose in the engine bay (where it went before and I mended it.)

Transformers by the look of it!

I did this with mine Mike, but didn't like it so put it all back in. I preferred the aero rear wiper than no wiper on my Ibiza. But fair shout for re-commencing the mods!

Yeah, I thought I would give it a go. I do use my wiper but it looks better without it. I will put it back if I get annoyed with not having it!

Its a Decepticon sticker. Thought my car looked my evil then good!

Selling up

Well.... I'm thinking of selling the Ibiza and replacing it with something diesel (and sensible for the time being!) Been looking at Passats, Leons, Octavias, that sort of thing. I'm steering clear of French cars TBH.

I know you will tell me not too, but... my mileage is about 18k a year and the price of petrol (and diesel) is getting silly now. My gas mileage ain't great. I thought about it a couple of years ago and never did it... so I'm thinking I have to now (sensible family man that I am now!)
