i have a cheek saying this but you may be better off saving your money and putting it towards a new car, because the amount i spent on the ibiza, yeah it looked worth it, but i never near made it back, i would have an even better car the now if i had saved that money, but then again, i loved every minute of the ibiza but tht was only due to what i did too it....but hense why im not modding this too much, would rather save this time and maybe in 2-3 years time i will buy better again.

yeah i no what you mean, really wanting an ibiza cupra but the insurance would just be ridiculous as im only 18. Absolutely love my little 1.2 but just getting bored because i want something faster, also because my mum had an lcr but sold it a few months ago and i really miss it :(

Plus commuting to and from work im doing nearly 500 miles a week and im starting to think i would probably be better off with a diesel due to mileage im doing! Dont want to put strain on the little engine and cause big problems in the future.

Flyeyes/car looks awesome here Scott. Been thinking about one of these for a while now (with my commute / the price of petrol) What sort of MPG you getting on average?

:cough:

lanceconnection005.jpg

that was my record last week on like a 20 mile commute to a shopping centre

its superb on motorways, driving reasonably sensible, but i do alot of town driving aswell and alot of cold starts means i dont always get good mpg, as the car basically heats up then cools down again and then back out of work, cold start then about 3 mile journey home, sometimes doesnt even heat to temp in this journey, sually see about 30-35 about town, sometimes 40. again depending how you drive it. the cold wether is kind of dissappearing so its getting a bit better mpg now.

Love your little VRS Scott, loved your Ibiza as well but times change, it had served it's time.

I don't like the fly eyes if I'm honest, looks good from a distance but I'd never be able to put up with essentially seeing ladies tights over your headlamps. I think some Lamin-X would be better.

Really like the LCR splitter on these they finish the front bumper off nicely. Also looks like it's got HIDs? Seems to have an OEM+ look to it at the moment which looks good.

And my god I envy your mpg and power.

It's nice to see a car that's clean in this sort of weather Scott!

yeh it has HIDs now, not the factory xenon headlights unfortunetely. nah tbh im happy enough with the flyeyes, yeh may lamin-x in the future but will keep them the same for now, just like you can do with tights on a woman, they just come right off
yeh really happy with the LCR splitter too. front end looks the way i want it.

OEM+ FTW :D
