Yeh you can tell the difference, your engine should be awesome when all mapped up!

I use vasstech in Northallerton mate, I'll dig their number out. They are very good!

Pretty sure alistairs son found a smf upstairs that fitted on yours, he said it fitted on the crank and the clutch fitted the flywheel too. He was thought it would fit mine I think but itl be too big and mine should be done this Saturday :D

That other flywheel was off a mk2 golf I think, if you can find out which one you'd need and if that one fits could prob get it cheap!

cheers scott

i read when got all parts for engine an was told rods and pistons will take 650 bhp so hope my 500 in a year will be ok, but

will keep injectors for when you want them,

can you not go k04 hybrid if you got hold of turbo, manifod and the k04 tip?

as i have sight overbore hope for engine to make a bit more toque and with the headwork hope to have and improvment higher up the rev range,

got my mapper and he doesnt want to go for peak figures wants to hold power throughout the rev range,

i am trying to get a large forge race fmic but been told will be a week as waiting on the crash bars to be made, seeing what we can do at the minute, as im hoping to start mapping monday,

whats your car averaging mpg when driven carefully? and would you ever go bt?

think if i ever got bored of hybrid ko3s id get rods and try for hybrid ko4 but a little too much work for that for me. Id love to try big turbo one day but not whilst im doing 3-400 miles a week in it lol maybe if i get a second car and win the lotto :p mpg usually says upto about 40mpg on he 27 miles to the office, if i reset on the motorway its usually on over 45mpg, just the short journey through town and on the mint a road up to the a19 that hammers that haha

How have you got on with the intercooler? Got all the little bits and bats getting sorted now? Cheers for keeping them injectors :)
