Looking good, I am very impressed you did it yourself, I think the front plate is the same size as mine looks loads better as I thought the standered size plate dominates the front end a bit to much for my liking,

And after seeing your pics of the hid before and after you have made me want some what kit did you use??

Yeah, I agree, old plates almost hid the middle section of the bumper. I used a kit off ebay which has a 2 year warranty, from cms_sales I got mine. I just went and bought for my OH's Xmas, and the company I got mine from have them on at £500! I think this is a mistake as I got mine for £65 with the LED sidelight bulbs from the same people. You could always email them and ask if they are serious about the price or if it is a mistake.

Have you had to align your headlights after fitting?

I've been flashed a few times although oddly it was by other cars with hid's!

Haha, I knew it wouldn't be long! Love the small front plate, makes it look meaner :)
Haha, made by hacksaw made me giggle

My old Cupra was far better in the snow. I really struggled too, plus first time in snow with this one so still gettin used to it. Iv got Pirelli P Zero's so dunno if they are meant to be good or not. Times like this I wish I didn't stay in the middle of no where on a farm :(

But... I guess I best man up as got a whole lot more of it to come!

nice car Kat,
i can totally agree with the 'dream car' tag, as i first saw one in 2003 and always wanted one...got mine in 2006 and still loving it tbh.

Good to keep it OEM as ive seen some cars completely ruined due to the owners lack of taste etc. The car is good out of the box, but will always benefit sensible mods ie ARBS and suspension and strut braces etc. My car is planted on the road, and it has made it a better car i think. I still say my HIDS are the best mod on the car, they are 6k ones on the 0 dial, and i have never been flashed cos they were too bright....anyway like i give a toss anyway lol.

Good choice of planned mods too, get some coillies as the car looks soooo high standard. Get some KWV3s like me and willie and you will be laughing all day long....

cheers

Thanks Bret :)

Im apsolutely loving it, still doesn't feel like its real if that makes sense? Sounds silly I know but thats how I feel anyway lol.

Im not changing anything about the look of it and I totally agree, I love the look so why change something you love! Only thing that will change is the ride height. And possibly a new exhaust but that will be further down the list. I just want to keep it OEM but try to make it a better car if I can.

Yeah, don't like how high it is :( But coilies will be after the winter. Will bear the KWV3s in mind :)

Thanks for the comment :)
