I think you've hit it spot on there Kat :D

39 hours of Machine Polishing eh..... hmmmm.... I think I'm going to have to take a week off work to sort ginge out

I think you'll manage to get it properly 'Perfect', you've got the best place to start ;) again, what a belter of an LCR

Intercoolers from the states ring a bell Craig?!?!

Bloody hell, 39 hours! Makes the 8 hours I took to do mine when I first got it look like a token effort!

Its a fair old time of polishing, helps I suppose when you can put the car inside though ;)

It does, my OH had no garage for a whole week haha!

I've always had to do my polishing outside. And by hand. (can you tell I'm sniffing for sympathy!)

Aww :( I used to do that, until I bought a DA, well worth the money.

Hey!! Thank you, shame it was pretty filthy that night! I was kinda shy with it being my first meet but look forward to getting to know you all, was good to meet you too. Updates will be happening but it might be a slow progress.

Think I will keep my wheels, they have just been refurbished in a nice subtle smokey grey, I really like it. But thank you for the offer, Im sure the wheels will be snaped up in no time if your selling them, Black wheels is a popular mod with LCR. :p

Well this week I finally received my documents to transfer my Private Plate so ordered new ones from fancyplates.com and they arrived on Friday. So, on Saturday I decided to fit my new plates, fit my HIDs and give the car a good clean.

First up was the Number Plates.
Here's the Rear (520mm x 112mm)

Here's the Front (390mm x 112mm)

Then I fitted my HID Headlight Conversion. Took me about an hour and a half but I got there in the end! I opted for 6000k.

Sadly I couldn't get my cat to model for the After Shot!
Im curently waiting on my brother to check the alignment of these but I think they look ok, but better to be safe than sorry!

Whilst I changed the Dipped Beams I fitted LED Sidelight Bulbs too.

Both HIDs and LED Sidelights

Thanks Tom, not bad for a girl huh? haha, did take me an hour and a half tho!

Yeah I agree that the small plate makes a huge difference, and the HIDs, just makes it look so much better :)

Thanks :)

Next is after winter, when Im getting both bumpers resprayed and my lowering springs on. They are only 6 months old so going to use them and get coilovers at a later date. Coilovers are no use until I move out as not got much clearence on standard springs as it is!

Looking good, I am very impressed you did it yourself, I think the front plate is the same size as mine looks loads better as I thought the standered size plate dominates the front end a bit to much for my liking,

And after seeing your pics of the hid before and after you have made me want some what kit did you use??
