You know you have a Mk2 Ibiza when you see a Kiwi yellow-ish colored car(Ok, it's quite a different color but...) of a totally different brand and immediately familiarize with the different coloured panels...

My hopefully soon to be girlfriend was sitting next to me on the Vauxhall van thingy, and the guy drove up, looking and smiling, dreaming that mine was a 1.0... I was like "That guy is gonna race me... What you think?"(as in "should I?") and she was like "You're way faster"... She kinda likes cars and bikes so

Right before next lights the van raced past me in left lane, then rushing in front of the car in front of me, going through to the lane on my right, taking a right turn... Girl said "Wow he really wanted to beat you lol"... Yep, but that was a really pathetic second attempt to do so

It's a pity there are hardly any double lane roads with lights where I usually go... My whole way to university doesn't have a single one, and I'm never first in line at the lights at the motorway intersection

Then again I DID outrun a Porsche Boxter that was revving behind me once But he wasn't giving it the beans of course Pretty funny how the guy looked like "Did that 15 year old POS just outrun me?...."

anyway i went past him on single lane(private road) as i go past this yuppie mofo sipping his evian water looks over sees my motor and almost spits out his bottled water.
all i heard was the double kick down and the revs go nice and high a serious squeal from the tyres BUT by this point im infront and gone i ended up topping out at 150mph and he went absoloutly hooooooning past me musta been 180+ i was tres happy with myself

also beat a porsche panamera turbo around the twisties
went going past him he saw me and well 6+miles of empty road at night (private road) and he couldnt get past his headlights where just a tiny flicker in my rear view

150mph what have you done to your abf they top out at 134 i mean unless its fully modified and was going down hill the speedo may be out ?


even when running nos i couls only gett it to 143 max and that was top end of all the revs

it was up to temp and no back seats. its getting it right through the gears! deffo not speddo out every time i go through a speed device thing it tells me 2mph quicker then im going. and the gps road angel is always 2mph over (i hit 150ish)

is mine the quickest cupra????

well im confused as mine is fully stripped out full stainless steel exhaust system decat stailless manifold full cold air feed induction and nos and only had quarter tank fuel and still topped out at 143


so u must have a good engine if standard

it was services 1000miles ago, ngk R plugs, magnacor leads, k and n panel filter, carbon filter delete, oil breather delete, formula gold engine treatment in with the oil (to up compression) new oil filter, new dizzy cap and rotor arm and coil distributor.
no back seats and almost on the red oh and it was just 4 wheel aligned.

hit 150mph at about 4am on a slight incline

Not to break your bubble, but my speedo always tells me I'm doing 10 km/h(6mph) more than I'm actually going...

But yeah.. I wish mine did 150mph. It tops out around 100mph... Not even near the red, but it just doesn't go any faster Then again.....

You know you have a mk2 Ibiza when you don't really want to go faster because your engine makes sounds as if it's in a really bad pain when you go above 4000rpm on the highway...
