i agree with this,

i love the idea of keeping the oem look and just getting the best out of performance and handling

Im sure it's still going strong tho! It really impresses me how much you can get out of these cars mileage wise. They go on forever!

Definitely! I don't regret buying it at all, I sold my 53 plate astra coupe with 44k on the clock in immaculate condition to get my LCR!

Thanks love. It's been a very long wait, 8 years!! But sooo good to finally have my dream car :)

Yeah, got it for a good price, and the guy gave me paint for the bumpers so only have labour to pay. He had all intensions of doing it but just didn't have the time in the end. The alloys were refurbished the night before I picked it up so that was a total bonus.

8 years is a long time, worth it though :) must be amazing to have something you've waited for/wanted for all that time. May be a while before i'm in a Cupra/FR :p

Ah thats good news, a good price is always good. Good job with the alloys, they look fantastic :D

I don't regret it at all. My Cupra was an apsolute minter, spent a lot of money on it and even won a show 'n' shine with it. I will miss it, but Im hoping to make the Cupra R just as good if not better :)

It was a very long time. Totally don't regret going to Leeds with not having seen the car in person. I knew from the photos he sent me that it looked good.

Yeah the alloys are nice, the guy did a really good job considering it was such short notice! They were drying overnight as I arrived at Leeds/Bradford airport at 8am!

Onward and upward as they say! You've got a good starting point with that one though. ;)

I'd be tempted to keep it standard. Get the scratches sorted and keep the miles low. Its the makings of a collectors piece. Think they are getting hard to find in this non-modded condition. Top spec too :)

Enjoy

Tough call because I kinda agree with that but can't not mod the LCR. So many decent upgrades out there from Forge and the like which really improve the car noticeably.

No LCR should be without an 007p though, lol.
