Nice work on the wheel Sam, seems to have come up really well. How does it compare to the 210 one? I know it has nicer leather for the side grips with the thumb holes. but is the rest of the wheel 'thicker' all the way round? If you can, would be cool to get a side by side or something.

Hope you are loving the CC stage 2 mate - how different is the driving experience now?

The 225 wheel is alot thicker mate

hi john. iv not fitted the wheel yet, but it does seem thicker than the 210 wheel. it feels so much more like a racing wheel and i love the comfort of the slots for you thumbs ,and it looks the part
as for the map, i was loving it. in fact the first time i put my foot down coming onto the motorway, it was heart thumping
all this ended too shortly, my coil pack fail
im in the process as we speak, looking for a new one.

Euro car parts do genuine vag coil packs for about 20-25£ I got 4 new coils and a set of NGK plugs for around 140£

no not much goes on in bristol, plenty of civic boys in longwell green
i live in hanham. if you want a hand fitting your intercooler then id be more than happy to help you, dont get sam (pyro) to help you, he will fit it custom style

well i picked up 2 genuine oem coil packs today, i got them from euro car parts. heres there part number as future reference; 413440485. they cost £28.60 each inc vat.
tomorrow night i will be fitting coil pack 3, so just to confirm, which one is coil 3?

It comes after 2 and befor 4 coils go 1234 from drivers side

dan when yours went did your boost gauge go mad as my warning light came on. warning light comes on at 2 bar

I dont have a warning light on mine , one of my coil packs went on the rr when it was mapped the other 3 went about a month after after they was all changed they lasted quite a while

thanks m8, still waiting for the results from bill(printer was broke ) but its around 270bhp not a clue on the torque. to be honest thats plenty as i cant even seem to use it atm

i suppose figures dont really matter, how it drives and gets the power down and corners is what matters

That's plenty enough mate and the map won't have settled fully yet I imagine. Bill's a very knowledgeable bloke so I'm sure that it goes like stink
