Yeah it will need a bit of modification, just have a friend help you mount it so it centre. Not sure how mine was done but my friend just got a drill and some self tappers and its never came off. Might need to cut the two lugs (not the full thing) to help it fit onto the bumper

Just been and bought an LCR splitter. I see looking round the showroom that the FR front bumper is different to the Sport one. Sport one has got some black plastic bits on it that the FR doesn't so not sure how it will look, but will see how it goes on mine and post some pics for those with a Sport hoping to try this. At least I'm ok as my boyfriend has the Leon Cupra so he is going to have the splitter if I don't like it!

Also saw the FR black headlights at the garage and they look so nice! Anyone know a good price for these and how complicated the fitting would be?

Had a price for the cupra headlights and they were £180 for the pair from seremotors iirc :)

Edit: Thats actually quite a good guide there :) not sure about the looks of it on the TT though

Thats a dead good price for the lights! are they the projectors or just the standard halogens?
haha, my mate bought a LCR splitter for his Grande Punto for £19...nice one awesome..not! he cable tied the splitter on and it was fine lol

BTW, really like the car mate, sits lower than i expected on the spring, decent stance tbf. These aren't the 'SEAT springs' are they? I think i'm going to for coilovers in spring

Yeah dont quote me on that, it just springs to mind :) the ones i priced were the non projector type with the black inside the headlight. Think thats the only real difference, was going to get my headlights taken apart and painted but decided against it

Yeah it sits pretty decent for springs, they wernt the seat sport ones bought them directly from eibach only a -25 mm drop aparently but a huge difference from standard. Id say if you could afford it get coilies and get it sitting how you would like it :)

really liking this one matey, if I could I would get a mk5 just not quite big enough for the family.

Thought I killed my mk4 at the weekend, I was pushing it a bit round the country and had forgotten I just put fuel injector cleaner in it, needless too say a heavy boot a massive ploom of thick black smoke and the engine bouncing off the rev limiter @ 6000rpm I suitably ruined my underwear! it was very lumpy for 10 mins after that but settled, think it got a good clean of crap though!

Yeah I know what you mean, the leon's have better space inside but we had an altea before with the seat sport kit, lowered, wheels etc HUGE amount of space inside and it looked the part :)

Scary moment there then :-O Glad the beeza is still running well though, thought about whats next for you then? :)

Looks amazing, i'll be happy if i can get mine looking half as good! :D

Thanks mate, much appreciated :D

Yeah I do like the Altea especially in fr spec, but really unsure what will happen carwise, its hard to decide with no cash

Still got to service the beeza again and tidy her up a bit, I have some 6x9's sitting in my garage but havent the time to build the stealth shelf for it yet....spare time I vaguely remember what that was like! [:@]

Yeah the Altea FR certainly has some nice spec :)

Yeah I remember you talking about doing your stealth shelf a while back, yep I know the feeling mate working pretty constant at the moment, hence 400 miles on the clock :(
