Sweeeet. Have you found a bumper to bid on, or are you going to start searching on the 26th?

By front end, do you mean just bumper? or splitter/FR grills included?

The car will look SERIOUSLY different soon :D

An LCR Splitter? It's £20 from a stealer.... I don't mean the entire front bumper, just the thin splitter?

I guess you're getting mixed up between that and facelift bumper

Off to paintball tomorrow, hopefully don't come back to a car covered in paint patches! :X
Was coming out of work tonight, and a girl I work with was like "OOOhhhhh your car is so pretty!!!" and then she dribbled a bit on my door.... I was like "WTFFFFF"!!!!!.

do you work in mental health?

Haha no :p

I guess it was just because she saw me, then happened to see my car as well. Too much beauty for anyone to handle...

She then proceeded to rub it off with her sleeve, and in my head I was thinking (NOOOOO!!! SCRATCH SWIRLSSSSS :cry::cry::cry:) but didn't say anything in fear of sounding like a ****

Real question is did she have too much beauty for you to handle? :p

As for painting front badges, I'm going to do behind the S bits in red to match my brake calipers (which aren't red yet ) and do the actual S badge in anthracite in the same colour as my alloys, once they've been refurbed. ;)

Hah, well with all the people that get in my car, I don't let them eat anything... Plus with half of my mates i shout "WATCH THE DOORS" when they get in/out, as most of them have the habit of resting them on other doors/not being careful and knocking panels...

I reckon every time I've given someone a lift, I've had a good comment about my car :) Everyone loves it, so shiny and awesome :p

Having passengers that get out and smash your doors into another parked one... it sounds all so familiar!

Was in the Trafford Centre car park a few weeks back, a mate of mine got out on the passenger side and smashed my door into the side door of an Audi A3! It made quite a big bang too! It was made worse by the fact that the owner of the car and his family were about 5 foot away walking towards the car!

No damage to my door somewhat amazingly, didn't hang around to have a look at his!

Yep....

Thing is, none of my friends have their OWN cars (1 of them got a 07 polo bought by his rents, and the rest use shitty bangers or cars under their parents names), so no one has the respect for cars, like we do.

If I ever go in someone else's car I am always REALLY careful, shame the same isn't returned...

And for some reason, none of my friends see the use of the handle under the boot lid.... I always make the point of using it, as when they do it I have nice big finger marks left on the boot which wiill probs scratch if I have any dirt on the boot!

yeah same here, my friends are not really into cars so they dont understand why i spend so much time looking after mine ha ha.

Most people who try to open my boot dont have a clue how to open it in the first place! And i always use the little handle on the inside to shut so that the paint doesnt get scratched lol!
