IMO everything should be colour coded on a black car.. It looks a lot better that way... But when everything is black and then wheels are black, I think it gets a bit too much... I'd go for silver wheels dude..

take it with a remap its phenominal, i think its real quick just now, but i imagine in a few months i will be used to it and want that bit extra.

Well I had the car 4 years before my map this Summer but that was cos I wanted to do all the other mods first and main plan was to do the stage 2 mods and then go straight to stage 2 map but life has changed so got stage one map and all mods bar clutch and FMIC for stage 2!
trubo boost is so different to petrol speed of the car.

Yeh my wheels are anthracite , they do tend to look black in pics thou, but you can introduce another colour in like my FR has got red details so would bring that in easily, thinking or changing the all black theme it is boring now need some coloured wheels or something!

Really like your new motor
Sounds like some good plans you've got and if your Ibiza is anything to go by it should be very good :)
Colour coding the front grille makes it look awesome.
I personally prefer anthricite wheels on black but the black does look good.
Keep up the progress matey :)

thanks mate
hehe i cant get used to briskoda at all, doesnt seem to have as much info as this forum and how the heel do you subscribe to threads, like here when you reply your instantly subscribed, but on there your not, unless its a profile setting to do that?

There is plenty of info on there, if you know where to look. There are plenty of stickies in the Fabia section and Fabia Guides section for FAQ and How to s. If you can't see what you want, use the search button. If these have failed to start a new thread, we are a friendly bunch so someone should answer it, just don't ask what tyres to buy as there are plenty of threads about it and you will be accused of killing innocent kittens. :p

If you want to subscribe to every thread you post in then go to My Settings>Forums then click on "Watch every topic I reply to" and change the drop down menu to "Immediate Email notification" If you only want to subscribe to curtain posts, at the top of each post click "Watch This Topic".

I don't think you can start a "Readers Rides" type thread in the "Project Journals". I think you have to start a "Blog", but I'm not sure how.

Loving the Brake calipers on this Fabia!!

Yep. They will probably be for 312mm dia discs from a Seat. Normal vRS calipers are painted Green (and 288mm discs). However the Blue SE and I think the new Mk2 vRS has red ones as standard.

On a different note.

If you want you nice clean seats to stay clean, Lidl are this week selling cheap seat covers, which are perfect for a Fabia vRS. Not only do they cover the backs of the front seats, have separate Headrest covers, but have rear seat covers as well. [B)]

Lidl - Car Sear Cover set.

I bought a set last year, after reading this thread. Seat covers £9.99 I see they have gone up in price since then (now £13). The only problem with places like Aldi or lidl is they only sell curtain thing for a short time. So if you don't buy them now you'll have to wait until this time next year to buy them again.

I fitted them to my front seats when the snow was here in Dec/Jan and they are still doing fine. :D
