If they quoted you £275 it should be £275, they can't just change their mind. Tell them that you are a member on SCN and that you thought you also recieved a discount (Chris used to deal with it but he has left now).

Hope it all goes ok!

Thanks for the advice guys.

Char - it's already being done so can't go elsewhere now like the place you got a quote from. Didn't bother ringing round tobe honest as Letchworth originally quoted the same as SC16v and they did a good job of his so thought I might as well go back there, it's also where I bought the car from.

SC16v - I have printed off the bits of this thread where it says how much you were quoted and for where and when. The guy today said it has been a standard £299 with them for 'some time now' so going to ask him how long it's been that price for, because if he claims it's been that price since before you got yours done then he should do mine for the same price as yours! I will mention about the SCN discount! Thanks

Think my dealer might be quite away from you anyway lol.
Get the pics up when its done though! How long does it take for them to fit etc?

UPDATE :

Yep someone hit the car, to say I'm angry is an under statement, had the car less than 5 months and it's got a dent in the door, scratch on rear bumper and now this (none of it I've caused). Really starting to give up on modifying

Aw no! How did that happen?
Luckily so far (touch wood) nothings happened to mine, though yesterday i was at my Mums and she screamed downstairs to me ''CHARLOTTE GET THOSE KIDS OUTSIDE AWAY FROM YOUR CAR!'' so i went storming to find them literally right beside my car swinging a toy gun around playing with another kid in a pram. So i told them to move away and ''i swear to god if you scratch my car!'' and walked away haha.

But thats seriously crap about yours :(

No idea, guessing someone with a towbar :(.

Going to visit the dealers tomorrow to get a quote for repair and to take out the scratch, hopefully won't be too much!!

Sorry about your car mate, hope it won't cost too much.

Got spoiler fitted and very happy with it! Price remained the same though :(
Will put pics on here but need to clean the car first.

That's it for now as really feel the urge to buy shoes again now lol.

Must be the week for Ibizas getting hurt (Char - stay in and wrap your car in a protective bubble!) as I have just had something from the recycling lorry a way in front of me on the dual carriageway lose something from its collection and it smacked into my windscreen. A nice chip and some scuff marks! Scared me loads though as it was straight at me and rather large item!

oh no! Can it polish out?
Definately keeping mine wrapped up lol. I've got a few stone chips on my bumper and one of the side of the car after a lorry went steaming past and through a patch of small stones. Only i can see them, but i dont like too when it comes to washing and getting close to the bumper.

Jeez, at least you are ok

Well I spoke to Seat today, had a guy from a local bodyshop they use pop over to the dealership to look at my car. He said they could fix it (it's hardly anything to look at!!!) and he will get a quote over to me ASAP, I asked how much approx and he said £300.................:-o:-o (That was my exact face!!!)

Get a quote from a local bodyshop who have a decent reputation - you'll definately get a cheaper quote than going through SEAT.

No point in paying a dealer who are going to outsource it to a bodyshop anyway.

True I'm just not too sure who to use around here, might have to do some digging! Wanted it all to be dealer worked on as I paid so much but I guess at the end of the day like you say they are just selling the work to someone else!

Cheers mate, appreciate your time reading it and for the great comments :)

Do like to look after it, needs more mods though ;) I'm thinking of getting a gromit for the rear wiper

I actually thought about that today! Need to get a photoshop done to convince me, didn't want to get the gloss black wheels from Seat but kind of wish I had now! Really want some coilies but I worry about my warranty being affected. Cupra/Boc front bumper, Seat side skirts, stealth stainless steel exhaust and upgrade the speakers, that's all so far. Any suggestions?

upload a photo of your car in the photoshop section (a side on shot) ask politely and someone might do you a photoshop with black rims and if theyre good at using it lower it down abit too :p all them mods you listed there sound good, coilovers would transform the car so much IMO, suppose if youre worried about warrenty then its difficult :)

Already posted it up mate ;) was thinking maybe a new front grille without the S badge and black instead of chrome.

If I came into a bit of money I'd see if it's possible to put a Cupra R engine and 6 speed manual box in it ;)
