take all those scratches off your dash by heating up the dash with a hairdryer and then rub really hard on the dash using a duster (i used the yellow type ones) and it will look as good as new. Had a few on mine then did this and it worked a treat. I bought these aluminium vent surrounds but thought that they did'nt fit very well so sent them back

Lookin good mate! I reckon if you grab a Cupra handbrake cover (£16 or so from a Stealer!), Cupra vent clips (check my reader's ride on the last page for pics) for £2 each it'll really add to the interior! In my opinion it's the tiny bits and pieces that really alters a car's image!

I'll put up a couple of the pics of the Audi TT pedals I'm picking up tomorrow. Look pretty smart and will transform the look of the pedals in any car (rather than those nasty rubber covers :p )

I'm not sure how much footwell mats are, but in mine they look great. I reckon they're about £40-50 from Stealers, but most likely much cheaper from Sere!

In terms of bulbs, if you don't get replacements from SG, grab some Osram Nightbreakers off eBay. Mine light up the country roads like no tomorrow, and are whiter than competitor brands. Obviously not in the same league as HIDs, but nice in my opinion. I think they're about £15 or so (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OSRAM-NIGHTBR...201706&cguid=a3e838e81250a0aad2a1e301fb8bdc29).

Also just noticed from your sig, you have black matt plastic wing mirror covers? A nice set of colour coded ones would look awesome :D

don't like that chrome stuff! looks quite tacky imo!

would recommend nightbreakers too, best bulb upgrade you can do, I'm going for HIDs now just to test them out, found a set for £53 from UK + 1 year warranty, H7Rs

Let me know how you get on Phase, I might be interested :D

They're not as shiny as chrome, however I am tempted to dull it down a bit. I guess it's the pics making them seem 'chromier' than normal. Might take the surround off and attempt it on the inside first! Will let you know tomorrow.

Im not really a fan of the chrome stuff either :(

The nightbreakers are nothing compared to HIDs. I found them quite crap actually and not really much improvement over standard. HIDs on the other hand! :D

How much more 'yellower' are the other brands then?

Below is a pic of my car half way through fitting my HIDs. Nightbreaker on the left, HID on the right. Theres less glare from my H7R HID than there is the nightbreaker, The HIDs are much brighter on the road, and they look much better too. What else can you ask for?

I'd certainly go HID if possible, you can pick them up for about £30 off ebay which tbh isnt much for the difference they make.

I had the chrome stuff in my old ibiza, just don't like it!

If you sand the parts down they have a brushed steel effect while looks really classy, like you'd expect in an audi, but you have to be careful with your sanding marks and make sure they all go in the same direction otherwise it won't look so good =]

Did you use any products along with this? it doesnt warp the dash in any way? Ive had a number of scratches on my dash since i got the car, and ive always wondered how to get rid of them..

If you go on mrcarmats(just type into google) you can choose the colour and thickness of your car mats and they are relatively cheap.
Can't remember the price off the top of my head

Also im 17 driving a facelift 1.2 12v ibiza and the insurance is £1500.( without any mods done ) just finished paying this year so in about two months i will get 1 years NCB.
I looked at some quotes today and the cheapest one i found was £1080 with no mods which is i think quite a good price.

Well i gave it a wipe with a damp cloth now and again just to keep the temperature from going too high. Also using your fingernail with the duster wrapped around it will help remove most stubborn ones. This only removes lights scratches and will not help gouged scratches.

Oh I forgot to answer you Marksy; I got them direct from the Audi dealer near me. Came to £35 inc. VAT. You can get some off the Austrian/German eBay for £32.50 I believe, but I couldn't be bothered to wait for them to be delivered ;)
