er how do they flash orange if they have no lens and clear bulb in?!

It definately has no orange at all in it! Myabe there is an orange bulb wrapped in chrome like the silvertech ones?

You just said your has a clear bulb in it, well it doesn't then?! As I said already it will have a clear bulb with orange lens and orange bulb with clear leans or a chrome bulb that flashes orange. Or someone had been an idiot and put a clear bulb in.

It's hard to explain but if i look at it the plastic lens is clear and the bulb is a small Chrome looking one but flashes orange when i lock /unlock it!

So its definately coloured inside the repeater and not the bulb? When I ordered a new one the other day that was clear so maybe it is a pre-facelift thing, as it looks like your old 1.2 in teh pic on first page had the colour one as well. could always go to a seat dealer and say yours is a 2003 version

Just looked , its got orange inside the lense , the actual bulb is clear so will need new reflectors

Btw clear ones are fitted too pre facelift but not facelift for some reson

Checked the receipt and they're a tenner each with VAT so not too sad i suppose.

go to any SEAT dealer and just ask for them for a 2003 model shouldn't be a problem, or you can look on ebay, must be a few around
just to let you know, mine are clear but i've got orange bulbs and you really can't see any orange at all
