Personally I think black vinyl rooves have been covered to death, I wouldn't do it. I'd want to do something different.

I'd have to see a photoshop of a carbon roof before doing it. As Aimez said the roof is a big section and covering it in anything won't be the most subtle of mods. So if you're going to cover it, make sure it's something you're 100% happy with.

But if you want to do a black roof do it, don't let me hold you back, it's you who pays your money!

I'd stop wasting money on tat and get the turboback/ front mount etc on the go or for 200 you could get a cupra bumper instead of the roof? Loads of options

Tat? Less of that! Im getting the wheels done no matter what , And i would of had my fmic if the guy didnt pull out of our deal..

No point in me getting a cupra front bumper with my intercooler it wont get the air it needs so theres no point until it has a fmic.. and thats another 300 quid..

Hmm where abouts? As in under the number plate? I heard it works with no fogs but not a nice look is it lol

Im still looking for the fmic and turbo back , i cant afford to get new

why everyone saying get a cupra front bumper only pre-facelift car peep like me are bothered about a new bumper (facelift front was cheaper for me NO ONE sells cupra bumpers it will cost him the earth!) plus yes unless you fork out for new bumper and paint and FMIC and hoses at the same time you can't on your car and unless you are rich who can afford all that in one whack. If you want to do visual mods go for it there is still time for performance mods depends what YOU want is your car.

Because it will make the car look better and he was asking for ideas? He's on about spending 200 quid on sticking fake carbon to the roof, you can pick up a cupra bumper cheaper than this and White paint is the cheapest remember and as I already said you can run the smic with the cupra bumper just need to unblock the drivers side of the centre grill, few people have done it over time.

because how many white cupras in the UK have you ever seen? none, coz none were ever made.....only people who put one on there white sportrider or FR which from the UK i have never seen either. i personally think your going to far with the carbon effect vinyl and i think it will overdo it by putting it on the roof.

Ill vinyl the bottom lip gloss black before i take it for paint , Along with drilling the vents etc.. Then heagun a splitter and stretch it out to fit the cupra lines better. Should look mean as fook!

Its just cutting away the bit of plastic that blocks the left side of the bumper , Its not needed just need to drill through the honey combe's and file it out easy !

Ordered some gloss black vinyl to do my pillars in ,and some gloss gold vinyl and white vinyl to have a play around the engine bay with Cost me 10 quid for it all , Good going

Considered doing mine but I've not really noticed any performance loss on my boggo' standard PD100 lol!

The pre-facelift foglights are £28ea from eBay - Just had to buy one for my Mk4 as one smashed.

Also regarding the lining the roof with Vinyl - I saw 2 cars at the RR on Saturday and one had the matte 3M DiNoc and the other the gloss and both had funny marks, the guys later said that they were where birdshit had landed and permanently marked the vinyl. Food for thought!

Think a white cupra will look great!
