Are the aero wiper arms standard on the MK4 golf? could they picked up at the local breakers cheap? that is just presuming you need the arms, to convert

Rare as rocking horse sh*t at a breakers I am afraid. They weren't fitted to all mk4 Golf's sadly. Best off going to a VW dealer but you're looking at around £60.

Was watching some on ebay they went for £66 second hand

If anyone can get a group buy going, put my name down :)

i got my mk4 golf aero kit from ebay for £40 off a breaker. Pretty sure that they were fitted to the golf after 03 plates. I just emailed on person breaking a golf and then copied the text and sent it to a load of people breaking golfs. Had about 8 replies and just went with the cheapest. www.volkswagenspares.com always worth a go!

Look much better than the ugly standards and no more juddering accross the screen (thought the standards were shocking TBH!)

Got a mate in VW if you want me to price them up new trade lads. Just let me know!

I just fitted a set of aero blades on my standard wiper arms, 2nd set and much better than originals :D. Bought from ebay £9 delivered.
Cut 1/2" off the passenger side outer and glued the plastic cap back on, fit the screen perfect.

I would prefer the aero arms.......any info from above as to the group buy or trade price buy??????

i have done the mk4 aero arms and blades on my leon, easy fit, and from inside i can not see the driver side blade can only see some of the blade in the passenger side, so this is a nice opgrade from the aero blades retrofit on the oem arms.

its fits right on, only thing is to cut some of the end i the passenger side if you want it to sit as low on the window as it can, and then refit the cap and glue it on.

all part numbers on the conversion to mk4 golf aero blades are in the thread here: Seat Leon Useful Part Numbers listing for Modifications
