Wish i'd have known about that shoe polish stuff, that red patch on the wheel was the whole reason I got rid. New steering wheel was more than the polo. I dont believe it doesnt come off on your hands, thats awesome. Even if it fades after a while you can just put more on!

I know it may sound silly mate, but is there any certain way you have to apply the wax??

So you are only Stage 1 at the moment, and you achieved the below figures? :-o

Yep ;)
TBH that was the best RR run I'v had, I also had one that made 255BHP & 260lb/ft and my last one in Feb 2010 it made 270BHP & 260ish lb/ft, this was after fitting the FMIC.
I'm not expecting a massive BHP gain from stage 2 but I'm hopeing the torque goes back up and get over 300lb/ft

It's a liquid wax with a dabber on the top, you just dab it on the surface and smear it around,
One bit of advice though, put an old cloth over you lap just incase it run's onto your trouser's ;)

With stage 2, i noticed i didnt get as much torque as my stage 1, but the torque is held for longer and further towards the top of the rev range so from 4.5k it pulls much harder, complete transformation :)

I can't believe how much that shoe polish has transformed your steering wheel! Mine is in good condition at the moment but I think I might hunt down a COOP and buy some, just in case.

The car's looking very nice Darren. Do you have any plans to carbon any more parts on the car? How's the front splitter holding up?

The front splitters doing alright :D the car's not been lowered which helps.

I'v got a couple more bit's I want to carbon, next up will be the front and rear "S" badge's, the vinyl stuff is getting used to much now and easy to do so they will be getting done soon and the battery box needs doing again after I cocked it up the other day

Yeah it would look good but I dont fancy risking it mate, if it went wrong the whole roof would have to be striped and resprayed,
Bonnet is do able though ;)
