No offence but you could have at least got something with a bit of character, the Audi just looks like every other car on the road in my opinion.

whatever floats your boat though, glad you've managed to sell it quickly and easily.

None taken comin from someone that bought a polo with no character. Pictures don't do it justice it's better in the flesh. Will look even better with the lm's on it

All the best with the new car mate. You may want to look at getting a set of Rotiform wheels on the Audi, they look slick in my opinion. Here is an example: http://www.stancenation.com/2010/07/22/simplicity-101/

Mates got them on his Golf R32 and they look very nice in real!
LOVE THOSE WHEELS:love:

1.8T? i hope you realise it's not even close to the same engine as the Leon, not to mention car will be heavier and generally not as good, brakes, steering rack, suspension etc etc - I cant stress enough please don't do it - for your own sake!

Surprised to hear my 20 year old polo has no character lol

Anyway, I'm really trying not to be a downer here, I'm just finding it really difficult and if I didn't think you were an alright bloke i wouldn't care - nevermind post.

Not bein rude but I don't see how someone that sold an lcr for a 1980's bucket can judge comment on someone buying a decent Audi. I'm gettin a 1.8 turbo as I hate the noise of diesels and I won't get insured on a 3.0 v6. I clearly know it's not the same but I don't drive around like a lunatic no more or track day my car so I don't see the point in keeping it just cause it handles well and all that. The Audi has still got enough poke to keep me satisfied and if remapped it goes upto the same bhp as a standard lcr. I want something I can just simply cruise around in and be different from the lcr as I have owned it for 4 years.

And I don't see how you can say your standard polo has character and the Audi don't. Have a look on the the link EL has posted and tell me your polo will ever look better than that

lol

Nevermind - if you think an 80s car has no character then I guess you dont get the pojnt. I am not just criticising the Audi for the sake of it I'm actually trying to make you think about the decision. You can get a hell of a lot of car for that sort of money. All I am saying is that there are a lot of the Audis on the road. if you want to have something different as you say above it is not exactly going to stand out.

Besides my "bucket" was £800, one owner and had done 27k miles. How many miles/owners are on the Audi?

I have looked for months at cars I want. And yes 80s cars such as golf Gti or escort mexico have got charactern not a polo kingfisher or whatever the hell it is. You are clearly the kind of person that thinks cause you don't like something or do like something everyone else has got to follow. So unsubscribe from the thread if you don't like what your reading as your boring me
