nooo! How can you guys say that! You know that even with their little perks and characteristics they are great cars! And then you get a long stretch of clear road and it makes you smile! You all know it

Tiggs, my car has been redeemed from the scrappie's once.. its had a few niggles since Ive had it, but its high point was the Euro trip and a run round the Nurburgring.. I cant beat that highlight with it, so maybe its just one of those things..

I envy you! I would LOVE to go to nurburgring but I doubt he'd make it lol

Suj-I only got him because I loved my mk2 golf so much but he's not got the basicness so it's a win win situation!

Vince-That's something to be proud of! That your car doesn't have to be that brutally modified that it's unrecognisable it gets compliments for the sexy way it is I only get people saying "see if you cleaned your wheels it would look lovely" I'm like they are clean-that's where the paints flaking off

it is a little modified, slammed with black windows, wheels and muu-uu---haaasive exhaust id prefer the 1.4 i had before now though. im sure i saw it on the motorway yesterday!!!

I'm getting the same way with mine, had it over two years now and just fancy a change. Still don't want to part with it though! Its a bit of a rare one being white with no ABS and low mileage of 86000. Just done 400 miles in the cotswolds trouble free with a grin on my face. I know i'd regret it if i sold it.

So for now at least as soon as the mazda's on the road the GTi will go into storage and i'll start again building up cars from the mazda. Probably an MX5 then maybe an MR2 turbo maybe a MK2 Golf also.

But it will always be on hot standby for when i want a moment of MK2 magic
