I feel old at 24 seeing as you're all younger than me! Had a Mk4 Cupra 20VT since I was 21 albeit 2 different ones. My insurance was £639 this year, all mods declared, 4yrs NCB. Hopefully it'll come down alot when I get to 25.

Exhaust looks great Scott, although I think you should have gone non-res if I'm honest.. not that I'm biased at all lol The downpipe will make a nice difference to tide you over til you get it mapped

Haha cheers mate, yeh I would have gone for non res if it had a cat in it, just didn't want to bring unwanted attention to myself with having no cat haha also I have a 56 mile commute and if it was too noisy without the cat and non res it would get abit tiresome, my 1.8 corsa Sri had a piper 4 branch and sports cat, 106db at 4krpm or something daft they measured at! Got annoying after awhile haha hoping insurance will come down now I'm 21 as it's a grand more than yours with mods declared :/

I didn't notice you went for a decat lol, oops! My exhaust is fairly loud under load I guess, but just cruising along on the motorway at 70-75, you'd never know it wasn't standard, you can barely hear it! I don't know how much noise difference a decat makes, but you may have emissions trouble come MOT time unless you know the tester

Mines LCR is 55 plate with 54,000 miles

Im not sure what year his is ... 04 i think, with about 50-60k im not 100%

Just ment the cupra bumpers on the fr's don't get the air needed because of the fog lights blocking the airflow needed.sHence me wondering if it had a fmic on the car as you said it was standard ish but had cupra bumpers

Got it all covered so no worries there and cool, I fancy abit of noise under load but nothing much tbh. Been there before. Hope to get pops and bangs though withthe decat!

He hasnt got foglights in matey, and for £100 a pop i wouldnt either haha!

Yeah i would be after petroleum found some cheap spacers last night so ordered them ... 25mm h&r ones for £30 delivered with bolts .... Cant complain now i just need to sweet talk my mam into lending me £350 before VW fest for coilies!
