You know you have a mk2 ibiza when...
...you receive a headunit as a gift but it's faulty and have to take it back to halfrauds who deny it being faulty and say it's because the cd player is getting too hot because seat has put it in the wrong place
I can honestly say I have never laughed so much in my life! They think cus they work in halfrauds and they know everything!

What a load of rubbish! The pioneer I had in it worked faultlessly, same with the kenwood but jvc-well that's a completely different story...
I will never get one of them again (or in this case ask for it lol)

After they told me I was making it up and sent me away saying they need to "see it in action" I did a lap of the retail park and it froze again-I phoned my bf to come down cus if I turned the car off it would reset again and start working.
Long story short I marched in there told them to give me my money back cus they didn't want to see me in action hahahahahahahaha!

Yeah I got a touch up pen for a skoda for my seat. Don't ask-I felt sorry for the guy and didn't have the heart to tell him it was the completely wrong colour as he was insistent that it was a match...

JVC players arent brilliant, specially the higher spec models. I have two bullet proof boggo ones, but the all singing and dancing one i had died. Got a panasonic in now its brill!!

Ive had 2 JVC headunits and never had any problems with them. The first one I bought in Halfords in a sale on the day I picked up my car, January 5th to be precise. Was a 200 quid one but got it for 100 quid. Had that a year and a half and upgraded to my current one, which I got cheap aswell. Retailed at around 250-300 quid and got it for 150 quid as the new model had just been released.

Know what you mean about Halfords and paint, Im never getting paint mixed up there again!

I just felt really bad for the guy! I'm such a soft touch! He was bright red and nervous as it is so I couldn't tell him the paint was wrong even when he took it out to tiggs and put it next to it and it was waaay brighter lol. Ah well
