Honestly mate i'll be fooking gutted tomorrow i know you will look after it mind and be careful of people banging it like your last one lol

Mods will be aplenty on the newun, starting from tomorrow if i buy it! Got a too cone filter to go on, an apr r1 recirc valve and some h&r 20mm spacers providing everything shows up! Will be fitting them hids off you too tomorrow night alex, removing rear wiper and unwanted badges etc

Then next week once the money is in the bank i'll be ordering up some coilies, strut brace, turbo-back (not sure between milltek or blueflame at the mo) rarb, forge t.i.p.

You'll cry on fuel consumption if it is a 1.8t. Which by the sounds of it, it is! I'm using a good £60-£65 a week doing similar mileage to you in the R32.

My R32 does have a drinking problem though.....

Is it a Mk4 Ibiza 1.8t? Golf? Mk1 Leon?

Probably get 35mpg on a good run???? I bet you got 57 on the Ibiza on a good run?

Internet stats reckon combined 36mpg. Ill be happy with that did look at the mk4 r32's but combined 25 mpg made me feel dizzy.

My round trip to work is just under 27mpg. So I figured I could afford an R32 as long as I got at least 27mpg out of it. So a gallon a day - keeps the money away???

Realistically they're as economical as you drive them. I can get low 20's if I am on a mission, but have seen 36.5 too! So if I can get that out an R, you can get 40 out a 1.8t Metro!

Suppose now's the time i show up and take responsibilty for buying scott's car , Ill be picking it up tomorrow night and dont worry she will be looked after . Have a few subtle mods in mind but nothing major until i get the stage 2 money , cant be ruining a car this special ,

If the wheels wonte fit over the brakes then it will only be 1 car, a mk4 ibiza cupra 20VT (the APR DV gives that bit away )
